Miles / miles per gallon x price = cost To find out what the stations along the way are charging for fuel, I use the Gas Buddy app. If you don't have a phone with apps, try http://www.gasbuddy.com/. PS: I just went to the Gas Buddy website and they have a trip calculator. Enter the starting point, destination, whether it is one way or round trip. From the drop downs you select your vehicle and then tells you how much the fuel will cost. It will let you enter your own MPG if it differs from their averages - like if you are towing - or driving a vehicle not on their list. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You can click/touch on it to fill the cost/gallon field. On small screens, you have to click the button to show hints to see that. Hope it helps. You enter your start, destination (including multiple legs), mileage and tank size and it will plot out the most advantageous places to stop for gas, price wise, and what the whole trip will cost.
