Dalspot ... Karen 21
I've got enough points for a $100 fuel card - we need diesel. Which would be our best bet traveling south on 95, or while at the fort?? Here are a list of those available: BPChevronCircle KExxon/MobilHolidayMarathonShellSinclairSpeedwaySunocoTexaco Thanks! Grumpy and Grandma 740
I personally would avoid B ad P etroleum at all costs when it comes to diesel. I'm a Shell #1 Marathon/Speedway #2(they do joint refining) and Exxon #3 person. JMHO
Dalspot ... Karen 21
What's close to the Fort tho? We'll have about $400 in fuel cards by November, hoping to have one to use close to the Fort.
LONE-STAR 370
Not sure about the route your taking but at Disney the closest diesel is a Hess station.
Dalspot ... Karen 21
Unfortunately, Hess is the one fuel station I can't get a card for, or I wouldn't be asking this! Just looking for my closest option for diesel that I can get card for, with the best price at the pump Not sure about the route your taking but at Disney the closest diesel is a Hess station. Judy in Texas 150
Try the GasBuddy app. You can filter for diesel.
caveat lector 181
Go with big high volume stations close to the hwy. stale diesel can be a bummer. I like Exxon and shell
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Just did a quick search on Gas Buddy for lowest diesel prices near Lake Buena Vista and it came up with the 2 Hess Stations on property (both $3.99) and a Chevron at 13480 S Apopka Vineland Rd & Meadow Creek Dr that is currently $4.
Dalspot ... Karen 21
I saw that too Mo. Guess maybe I'll get the chevron. Pulling a 36' fifth wheel can limit station choices too Karen
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
...Pulling a 36' fifth wheel can limit station choices too I hear you. Our truck + camper = almost 50' which makes picking the right station a trick sometimes if we want to get in/out without difficulty. Luckily 95 gives you a lot of choices for gas with all the major players. We try and pick stops with some options just to make sure we can get in/out fairly easily. Looks like Chevron also has a mobile app if you have an iPhone, which might be helpful for using the gas cards along your route as well...http://www.chevronwithtechron.com/stations/mobile-apps.aspx
dblr....Rennie 224
When we can we use the stations at Walmart's, put money on a Walmart Card and use it at the gas station for a discount on gas & diesel, but you need to be unhooked as their stations are usually not trailer friendly
Grumpy and Grandma 740
While your at the FORT there is a Shell with Diesel at 535 & 536 right around the corner from Hotel Row, it would definitely work if you don't have the 5th w.
Dalspot ... Karen 21
Ah, now that's exactly what I was looking for G&G! AuburnJen 777
Shell is a little higher in price in Florida (that I have noticed) than Chevron and Exxon/Mobil. That is why I steer away from them. But that is MHO. :)

Jhkayakr 0
You want to save 4 cents or so per gallon, get a pilot card. Fuel up in SC.
Dalspot ... Karen 21
10 mpg towing on a 35 gallon tank doesn't get you very far! Karen
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
We are fortunate to have a 110 gallon tank and a range of up to 1100 miles. So we fuel up in SC going both directions.

Dalspot ... Karen 21
We talked about getting a secondary fuel tank but decided against it. We carry a backup 5-gallon diesel can and plan our fuel stops carefully. We don't travel long distances that often. Karen
