banolte 0
Last night the 24th between 10:15pm and 1am this morning my nishiki bike was stolen from the trees by the boat dock. It is white on the front and black on the back 29" kinsua model. It was brand new this week. Very distinct white reflector tape on the black wheels. If anyone sees it please contact security. I have filled a police report and can price ownership with the vin number. Thanks for your help

banolte 0
Thank you all. Been here a week and have today. Last night was the only time I didn't lock it up. My dumb move...if you find it please pm me and I can give you my phone number.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Man, that stinks! I hate hearing when stuff that happens out in the real world happens at the Fort. Unfortunately, security at the Fort is a joke. We have no idea who comes and goes, and it's likely that the thief isn't even a registered guest. I hope it turns up. And this should serve as a sad reminder to all of us that we need to lock out stuff up at the Fort. TCD
Beckers 1,136
That sucks. Hopefully someone was just being a punk and moved it and you will find it ASAP. Good luck
4Brians.....Todd 103
I even lock up my cart. Some people look at me like I'm nuts. I don't mind,banolte...814 area code...what part of western PA is home?
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I even lock up my cart. Some people look at me like I'm nuts. I don't mind, DH chains the charger on our rental cart to the cart. But apparently there's quite a market for the chargers and it's not rare for them to go missing from the Fort. Grumpy and Grandma 740
I have the charger chained and also have a hidden kill switch for the cart along with an alarm pad lock that I can hang on the steering wheel.
momof3kids-Yvonne 596
First I am so sorry that you have to deal with this during your vacation. Second it would probably be best not to post your phone number in a public forum. The admins always suggest we have people PM us if we need a way to get in touch with each other. Finally Welcome to Fort Fiends!

Starbuc71 162
You can't trust people anywhere anymore. The person who took it most likely lives far far away and it will never be found. I'm actually shocked we don't hear about this stuff more often at the fort. It a fricken shame the way the world has become

4Brians.....Todd 103
banolte...how about the last couple digits of the serial number? At least if someone sees something, they can check it out. I will give no guarantees that the rider won't be scuffed up when I turn the bike over to check the number... Augie56 2
Sorry to hear that. WDW sometimes provides a false sense of security and 'rightness' , I guess. Mine and the wife's mountain bikes, although Schwinns, aren't worth very much and prob don't look too appealing. We never locked our bikes up when we were there. But if I had a nice new, fancy expensive bike, I'd surely be locking it up everywhere. Tough lesson learned, I bet.
banolte 0
The last 3of the Vin are 715, thanks
Big Kahuna aka John 71
Sorry to hear about your bike. But you just gave Todd a mission. 25 years with PSP, if it's there he'll find it. Don't forget to check over at the Lodge, in case someone took a joy ride.
