Lou... 3,118
Tokyo Disneyland suspended operations due to liquefaction of soil caused by the intense shaking of the tremor. The target date for a decision and notification on when operations will resume is 3/21. The earthquake did not cause any major damage to the parks.
WhitShores 1
That's good that there was no major damage. There was a lady I heard calling into a radio station the day the Earthquake hit and she couldn't get through to her niece who worked at Tokyo Disneyland. It was really sad. SCTigerCock 171
Our thoughts and prayers are with Japan and others impacted by this disaster I would be surprised if they come back on line before the electrical issues are resolved. Unfortunately, until all impacted reactors are shut down, the grid can not be assessed. Planned blackouts starting today were delayed. I can't imagine bringing DLJ back up in the current situation.
