mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Great pix.Way. Way to many people.Yes, it is crowded. Think WDW on a crowded day and add LOTS and LOTS of traffic, and construction
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
And I honestly don't think I'll complain about Disney prices too much any more. My room is almost 300 a night, and it barely has room for a king bed, chair, and armoire
Memphis 105
Yes, it is crowded. Think WDW on a crowded day and add LOTS and LOTS of traffic, and constructionso MK on New Years Eve with a side trip to DTD .... I may never go to NYC ....
Mecha Geek 1
Carol, if you can, get a horse carriage ride around Central Park. It may become a thing of the past if the new mayor has his way. NYC is an awesome place to visit. I try to make at least one day trip there a year. The crowds can be crazy especially around Times Square and during the holidays., but there is so much to see and do. Have a great time!
Momof6....aka Marty 769
Though I see lots of changes, it still looks how I mostly remember it. I don't think I have been to "The City" since 1990. I would love to go back for a visit, but I would rather save my money for WDW.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I haven't been to NYC in forever, which is bad because I have a close friend there. That dessert looks yummy!
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Thanks all!! Unfortunately my fun time will be really short, I had this afternoon, then for the next 3 days I've got 8 hours of training each day, then my regular job to sortof keep up with in the evenings. My son will be back Friday night, and we'll find another place to eat then have Saturday during the day. I think we're going to go around to Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero. I actually don't want to take the time to "tour" any one thing in any depth, just wander and "see" a few key things with my own eyes.
YodaGirl 13
I would LOVE to see Grand Central Station. I think it's so pretty.

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Great photos, Carol. I agree with not taking a tour. It's easy to get around Manhattan. You can take the subway or a taxi anywhere you want to go. TCD
