dvccamper 32
I read this yesterday on a DVC site, hadn't seen it here so I thought I would post the link. And we thought the freaks came out for a regular SWW, can you imagine what this will be like? (And yet, I would love to be there!). http://www.insidethemagic.net/headlines/mark-hamill-luke-skywalker-himself-announced-to-make-first-appearance-at-walt-disney-worlds-star-wars-weekends/ Katman1356...Jason

GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
When I heard this yesterday, that was my exact thought.... people already camp out for people I've never even heard of. Luke is going to be insane. TCD, you need to go just to take pictures of the people in line.
DaveInTN 3,247
Must be part of his Ep VII contract. I bet they also wanted Leia but the personal trainers' work isn't done yet.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
TCD, you need to go just to take pictures of the people in line. Emails were sent to Twin #1 and Twin #2 last night. We are making plans as we speak. This will be epic. TCD

devores 382
Mark will not be signing autographs or making personal appearances. He will host the weekend events, be part of the calvalcade, and have information seminars only.

Lou... 3,118
You just ruined my day, not because I wanted to meet him, but because I wanted to see them people in line to do so. Oh no, it's not ruined, there is still a lot of nut cases to see. You've still got the geeks and nerds that walk around, or march, in the plastic Stormtrooper costumes. Hey make-believe Stormtroopers, those costumes can't stop a flashlight beam, never mind a laser beam. I group them in with re-enactors, and that, I'll never understand I will go only because it's free, but only for the circus atmosphere, I don't get the fanaticism. From the first time I saw the first movie, I have been a Star Wars fan. I even have a section in my office with bunch of Star Wars stuff, but these weekends are a little much. I wonder what I'll buy this year. I realize that Star Wars is just a bunch of movies, it's fantasy, it's great entertainment.
Seals 111
How old is that picture of Mark Hammill? After seeing recent pictures of him I don't think I'd recognize him if I walked past him today.

DaveInTN 3,247
Hollywood's best personal trainers are working with Luke and Leia as we speak. Age has not been kind to the Jedi twins.
Lou... 3,118
Age has not been kind to the Jedi twins. I guess even the Jedi haven't been able to do away with the aging problem.
