pezheadval 32
Just saw this article and thought I'd share... http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/breakingnews/os-downtown-disney-fish-tank-t-rex-20140317,0,4406789.story Orlando Sentinel Huge fish tank bursts at Downtown Disney restaurant By Susan Jacobson, Orlando Sentinel11:48 PM EDT, March 17, 2014 A fish tank broke at a Downtown Disney restaurant Monday, sending water gushing into the dining room at T-Rex Cafe and people jumping up from their seats, witnesses said. Kate Wallace, 28, of San Diego and her family were sitting about 20 feet from the tank when she heard "a big noise" as the water poured out in a stream. "There was a lot of commotion," she said. "The whole section just sort of went crazy. The kitchen staff and other employees rushed over and tried to hustle nearby diners out of the area, but 10 or 15 people remained to snap pictures and video on their smartphones, Wallace said. A few posted them on social media, showing the water flowing out of the circular aquarium and onto the floor of the dinosaur-themed restaurant. "It was chaos," one man posted on Facebook. Witnesses said employees scooped up the fish in a net as the water level dropped quickly and brought out trash cans and long-handled squeegees. Wallace, who is on vacation, praised the staff's quick response. "The staff — they were doing the best job that they could," she said. "It was craziness. Just kind of people freaking out. It's not something that you see very often. How do you respond to that?" Wallace, a freelance public-relations professional, said it appeared as though a seam opened up on the tank. Some people were sitting directly below it and must have gotten wet, she said. There were no reports of injuries. An employee who answered the phone at the restaurant said a manager told her to refer questions to corporate headquarters. No one answered the phone at Landry's, the Houston company that owns T-Rex Cafe. Wallace and her family had just ordered when the aquarium erupted. They ended up going elsewhere to eat. Katman1356...Jason 1,140
I wonder if they have a plan in place invade this happens??When we were watching it looks like the crack started several inches above the bottom, There was probably enough water to keep them a live for a while until they got some temporary aquariums set up. Or they are lying and the sushi was really fresh some where that night. kampfirekim and Avatab.... Steve

kampfirekim 260
Must have been a slow news day around the real world. Real world news is the same everyday and repeats itself every hour on the hour. At least this was something different. Glad the fish were ok and several guests got cool iphone video.
