h2odivers...Ray 952
Ok break out the tissues. This is when my DD made me want to cry. As some of you may know/remember I messed up my ankle a few days before our big date. I was playing with my new big boy toy clearing out some trees and when I stepped out of the Bobcat I pulled/stretched my Achilles' tendon and I could barely walk. Well I was still in quite a bit of pain but there was no way I was going to sit out this dance. After our first dance my DD say that I was in pain and put her arm around me and said "I can help you back to the table daddy". I said I'm ok and we sat down. She looked at me and said "daddy we can just sit here and listen to the music and talk if you can't dance". I immediately sucked it up and grabbed her hand and went back on the dance floor. We danced and had a great time. But let me tell you it's hard to do the Twist with a twisted ankle. It was almost time to go put we had to dance to her favorite song...Gangnam Style! If you don't know it ask your kids or grand kids. I guarantee they know it.

h2odivers...Ray 952
And for our last dance they played our song...Butterfly Kisses. Try dancing with your daughter and not tearing up. I dare you..Sorry no picture of us dancing together. Mothers aren't allowed so you know us guys aren't going to ask anyone to take a picture. So I'll leave you with the lyrics to our song and one last picture of my princess after the dance, looking beautiful and waiting for DW to pick us up. Thanks for reading along. "Butterfly Kisses"There's two things I know for sureShe was sent here from heaven and she's Daddy's little girlAs I drop to my knees by her bed at nightShe talks to Jesus and I close my eyesAnd I thank God for all of the joy in my lifeOh, but most of all for...Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayerStickin' little white flowers all up in her hair"Walk beside the pony Daddy, it's my first rideI know the cake looks funny Daddy but I sure tried"Oh, with all that I've done wrong, I must have done something rightTo deserve a hug every morning and butterfly kisses at nightSweet sixteen todayAnd she's lookin' like her mamma a little more every dayOne part woman, the other part girlTo perfume and make-up, from ribbons and curlsTrying her wings out in a great big worldBut I remember...Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayerStickin' little white flowers all up in her hairYou know how much I love you DaddyBut if you don't mind I'm only gonna kiss you on the cheek this timeOh, with all that I've done wrong, I must have done something rightTo deserve her love every morning and butterfly kisses at nightOh the precious timesOh, like the wind the years go byPrecious butterflySpread your wings and flyShe'll change her name todayand she'll make a promise and I'll give her awayStanding in the bride room just staring at herShe asked me what I'm thinking and I said "I'm not sure,I just feel like I'm losing my baby girl"And she leaned over...and gave me...Butterfly kisses with her mamma thereStickin' little white flowers all up in her hair"Walk me down the aisle Daddy, it's just about timeDoes my wedding gown look pretty Daddy? Daddy don't cry"Oh, with all that I've done wrong, I must have done something rightTo deserve her love every morning and butterfly kissesI couldn't ask God for moreMan, this is what love isI know I've gotta let her go, but I'll always rememberEvery hug in the morning and butterfly kisses at night
