Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Anyway, after our tour, TCD and I met with my DD and DS and TCD hooked them up with a bunch of SOTMK cards they needed. Thanks for that TCD. Very kind of you. DW commented this morning how nice you were too, while she was reading the update with your pic. Nice? Really? Usually I get Rock Star. Not nice. I guess Mrs. AC needed to tone it down so as not to make you jealous. Go Braves. Go Blue. But most of all: Go Gata! TCD
AC in A2......Aaron 693
Aaaaarooonnnnnn.... You're right I can hear it too! Go Braves! Good. It's not just me. I thought I was going crazy. Darn that man for blocking your picture. I know. Right? I'll probably never be able to get a picture with DS on Splash ever again. Nice? Really? Usually I get Rock Star. Not nice. I guess Mrs. AC needed to tone it down so as not to make you jealous. Go Braves. Go Blue. But most of all: Go Gata! TCD That was a nice post.
AC in A2......Aaron 693
12-14-13 (continued) It had been a long time since we rode Splash Mountain. It is almost always closed when we go in January/February. It seems they are usually working on it during that period because it is a slow time at WDW. Onward to the ride next door to Splash. POTC next: And the Jingle Cruise: Of course you can't visit Adventureland without: After our dole whips, we head to Liberty Square, before an appearance by a now defunct Disney attraction. I guess you weren't kidding when you said you had to stop there if you were in Adventureland. Well done. TCD AC in A2......Aaron

This is a memory maker and one of the greatest photos I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. That right there is an award winner... Thank you sir. You pegged that one. The picture brings a smile to my face. Did you keep track of how many Dole Whips the AC gang consumed this trip? I guess you weren't kidding when you said you had to stop there if you were in Adventureland. Well done. TCD I am pretty sure we had one or two more but no pictures so I am not sure where they would have fit in to this report. I was thinking the exact same thing. Thanks Dave. OK, the picture of your daughter with her Dole Whip is one of the cutest things I've seen EVAH! Thanks Kelly. Very kind of you to say that. I really like this photo ! Great TR! Thanks! AC in A2......Aaron 693
12-14-13 (continued) On to Liberty Square.... We went into the gift shop for a bit. If you have read my past TRs you know my kids have zero issue with grabbing a book off the shelves and reading it on the floor near the place they found it. And they have apparently found some interesting reading: Back outside: HOP: After HOP, it was time to ride more trusty steeds: And now, possibly the last TR sighting of a now defunct character attraction: After PUSH, we ran into a little trolley car and dance troupe not so limited time magic: And now........... Hey. Get Up. Get Loud. Continued in the next post..........

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I am pro kids reading books. Good job, there. Also good job taking the photos of the strange man talking into his hand around PUSH. Wonder what he was doing? Seeing that garland strung across Main Street makes me miss it already. kampfirekim 260
I love that your kids have no issues grabbing a book and plopping right down for a reading session. Growing up we had no such issues doing that in front of the TV's for sale in Lowe's. (I just really dated myself) :rofl2:

TCD Yeah, the strange man was tough to pick out. That is the guy that is always there with PUSH, at least every time I have seen PUSH. I can't believe the garland is really going away. That's dumb. I know. The new parade and all that. Just stop doing that parade during the holidays. Problem solved.I'm gonna miss Push. But I'm gonna miss the garland across Main Street even more! I agree. I love that your kids have no issues grabbing a book and plopping right down for a reading session. Growing up we had no such issues doing that in front of the TV's for sale in Lowe's. (I just really dated myself) :rofl2: I love it too Kim. I like that they love to read and I think it's cool they love reading so much that they could care less where they are when they get the itch. That's why I always seem to get pictures like that. Thanks for the comments and to those of you still reading along.
AC in A2......Aaron 693
12-14-13 (continued) On the way back to the Fort: When we got back to the 2000 loop, I took a walk to check out the campsites of a large group that showed up a couple nights before and were loud and obnoxious.....as another FF trip reporter would say, they were not of this land. Check out some of the sites: Frosty collapsed in astonishment across from a site that had five vehicles parked on it, icluding two parked well off the pad in between trees and bushes. At the beginning of the loop, the road was closed due to a water main break: There's the Fort Leader Jose on the golfcart....I overheard him saying they may need to deliver a case of water to each site. There was no water at the sites or in the restrooms. We went to the pool for the afternoon and when we came back the water was still shut down, but there was no case of water at my site so Jose must have decided we were okay without it. After swimming, we ate a quick dinner at the PUP and then headed back to the MK for our last night. We'll pick up there next time.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Poor Frosty. I guess Jose was OK with the 5 cars on one site? BTW- you know how they dug up the loop to fix that water line? It temporary fix on the road was still there in March. Hey- that photo you took of the MK ferry dock confirmed something for me. Your photo from December 2013: My photo from March 2014: New floating dock. TCD
