mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
While all the princess meals are great for the little girls, they ruined a great restaurant by making it all princesses, all the time. I used to LOVE that place, and made a point to eat there one last time before it went princess. I haven't been back since, and won't (unless I have a granddaughter, then I'll be there with bells on). If not, even though the food was good, i would not eat there either.
DaveInTN 3,247
Voices of Liberty definitely do not SMB. Love them. Scotch eggs also do not SMB. Love them too. Fish and chips and a Black and Tan both do not SMB. Awesomely good stuff. So all in all....that was an anti-SMB update! AC in A2......Aaron

AC in A2......Aaron 693
12-11-13 (continued) We met back up with Lou and Gail after giving the cold shoulder to Mary Poppins. They were in the park to watch the Candlelight Processional from the area near the American Adventure Pavilion. We bought the CP dinner package and therefore had reserved seating. We hung out with Lou and Gail for a bit. The kids had a great time with them. DD really took to Gail and DS always asks about Lou. They were just awesome with our kids. I hope we can meet up with them again on our next trip. Dennis Haysbert was the guest narrator: CP Pics: We met back up with Lou and Gail after the spectacular show. We parted ways and we took a few more pics on the way out: They should get rid of these: The kids wanted to revisit world showcase and DD wanted to try to meet the Frozen princesses, so we made plans to come back to Epcot in the morning. AC in A2......Aaron 693
12-12-13 BPG was hard at work when we were loading up in the cart to head for the outpost: We were headed to Epcot, but our plan was to get there about 1030 so we could maybe get in the Frozen princesses line for the 1100am meet and greet in Norway; since World Showcase does not open until 1100. The movie released nationwide on 11-27-13. We did not see it before heading to Florida. We figured it would be a good thing to do between our trip and Christmas when we got back home. So, needless to say.... We drastically underestimated the popularity of Elsa and Anna: This was the line......only this was the line that was forming for the 1230 meet and greet. The 1100 people had been moved to a different holding area according to a CM. As I was taking those pics, the CMs started forming a 2:30 line next to the 1230 line and before I knew it that meet and greet was full also. Needless to say, we did not meet any Frozen princesses. I see a permanent meet and greet with FP+ coming soon. This place was nuts. And according to most reports, it is still this nuts or worse. They need a princess hall like the new one built in New Fantasyland. Then and only then unfortunately, will DD get to meet them. Unless, they start showing their faces at the Akershus breakfast. Then, I will have to make the ressies to go there again. A few more Norway pics: First in line for the day! The kids wanted to ride Maelstrom. This would be their first time ever: Time to go to the Norwegian bakery: After Norway, we went to Germany for another family staple: We kept walking and stopped at the American Adventure for a few minutes where a lady was giving a presentation on Hanukkah: Passing through the UK: Continued in the next post...... alexwyattmommy 181
Great update.Wait, isn't the princess breakfast in Norway already? I'm thinking the reason we have such a long winter is because Elsa isn't part of the dining rotation. AC in A2......Aaron

What are they? Also, we've never done the CP. what's it all about? is it worth the wait or is it best to do the dinner and show package? The tortilla thing is called Lefse. It is like a potato bread tortilla with butter and cinnamon sugar. Very yum.CP is the story of Christmas told by celebrity narrator backed by orchestra and choir. It was a great program. We did the dinner package but I have heard tell that if you go during the middle of the week you can get it without the package.

DaveInTN 3,247
I am so happy that you didn't go to the CP on Dec 4th or 5th. Those Anna and Elsa meet lines are insane. No way would I stand in them, even for my daughters who I love more than anything. Unless the line were wrapping around the Canada pavilion and I could grab a Moosehead from time to time. I'm sorry, but that Alice looks like a dude in drag. Like a character from The Birdcage or something. Ok, carryon..... AC in A2......Aaron

AC in A2......Aaron 693
12-12-13 (continued) We ate some lunch at the Fort and then hung out at the Meadows for a bit: We then headed to DHS for the evening: DS wanted to go see Captain Jack: They said the current show was full but we could start forming a 6:30 line if we wanted. That was almost 2 hours from now. We said no thanks. I noticed Luke Skywalker was across from Captain Jack near the bathrooms: You can't see the name on the back of the hockey jersey very well, but it says "L. Skywalker". Who knew that Luke played hockey on Tatooine? Not me. I knew he used to bulls-eye womprats back home, but I never knew he practiced the art of the slap-shot. More DHS in the next update.
