Just add off-key, joyful singing as moviegoers will be encouraged to join in with the film's stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff."Frozen fans have embraced the film's original songs and its soundtrack with such passion," Dave Hollis, Disney's executive vice president of theatrical distribution said in a statement. "It's a great opportunity for families to get together and have some fun with these songs."The new version won't hurt the film's Oscar chances after Frozen received two nominations for best animated feature and best song (Let It Go). The film has already earned $773 million worldwide after it's record-breaking Thanksgiving opening.

DaveInTN 3,247
Prepare to part with another $40 lol Seriously. The movie has made $773 million so far...my family accounts for a fair share of that.

McMonsters..........Kelly 48
My kids can't read so no good for us, they know all the words anyhow. Just today the 2 year old was pulling on the vacuum cord and I told her to "let it go", well she did and broke out in full song. Great idea for the lyrics on screen most of the audience was singing along at our last show. DramaMama .......... Janet
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Have they ever done this before? I'm not sure if I'm more aware of it because Zachary LOVES the movie, but I swear I see soooooooooooooooooooo many facebook and internet stories about kids and these songs. CitaPita...Carmen 59
My girls are obsessed with the songs, too. I might like them a bit myself. We've already seen the movie twice, but this makes me think a third trip might be in order...
Beckers 1,136
If you go on fandango you can find where it is playing.
Momof6....aka Marty 769
My poor sons have not seen the movie, but hear the songs constantly as my girls sing them around the house. When I took my 6yo a few weeks ago, she sang along quietly because she already knew the songs from my 18yo playing them on her iTouch. I really would love to go, but we only see movies when we can get free tickets.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I was discussing this with one of my daughters. I thought she would be excited about this, But she isn't. As she pointed out-can you imagine the noise? There are too many bad singers out there. I'll pass. TCD
Beckers 1,136
I was taking to Brian about it and his opinion was who on earth would want to go to that?!? And I told him wait 3 years and we will be there with our daughter.
Travisma 1,317
My 4 (almost 5) year old GD hasn't stopped singing the Frozen songs since before Thanksgiving. She belts them out complete with arms flying and tons of emotion. It opens Friday down here in Tampa, and looks like it's running at least until 2/6.... that's as far out that Fandango shows tickets for now. It looks like most of the sing alongs are early shows. I think it'll be a hoot with all of the kids singing and playacting... sort of like a kids version of Rocky Horror. I wonder if they will allow parents to take pictures of all the kids singing? If you've never seen the movie this might not be the best time to do it.
LONE-STAR 370
Well we went and saw Frozen again today. My parents and my sisters family went to so they could see what my little girl had had been singing about. Really it was better the second time around.
DaveInTN 3,247
My 4 (almost 5) year old GD hasn't stopped singing the Frozen songs since before Thanksgiving. It's been the same here. We saw the movie the day before Thanksgiving, and there isn't a day that goes by without the songs being belted out. Unreal.
Beckers 1,136
Do you think the sing a long was pre planned or an after thought once they saw how popular the music was?
kampfirekim 260
Now that I have seen the movie I sooooo want to go!!! As she pointed out-can you imagine the noise? There are too many bad singers out there. I'll pass. TCD That just hurts my feelings.
LONE-STAR 370
My 4 year old did not want to do the sing along. She said Daddy that noise will hurt my ears. So we saw the regular version again.
