Cerawind 0
Hello Everyone! I'm new to the forums and first off wanted to say hi! My new husband and I are planning on enjoying our honeymoon during the last 2 weeks of April and we're planning to spend a few days at the Fort since we both love camping and it will be a different experience. It will be his first time at Disney World, my second time, and both of our first times at FW! Coincidentally, our camping reservations happen to be over Easter and we were excited to hear there are Easter activities at Fort Wilderness! So I have a few questions about this: 1) Are the Easter activities mostly very similar to the Fort's daily activities? It kind of seemed like they were except for the egg hunt and Golden Egg hunt! 2) Which of the activities (both Easter and non-Easter) would be friendly for adults? I know, such a silly question. Usually people ask about kid-friendly activities, not the other way around! I heard the egg hunts in the parks have a maximum age limit of 12, so we wouldn't want to be planning on other activities if they were the same age limit requirement! Thanks in advance for all your help! We are so excited for our trip!
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Welcome! We've been there the last 2 years for Easter. You can get pictures with Mickey and Minnie. Mickey will be in his Fort costume, and Minnie will be in an Easter dress. Even though you're not traveling with kids, looking at the designs they make for the candy scramble is cool. You can see last year in my April TR in my signature. In 2012 I think I did a separate Easter post with pictures.

The prizes for these types of contests are typically a free boat rental at the marina. Reports from last year were that there were organized groups with teens on bikes racing around to get the clues for the golden egg- a family playing alone wouldn't stand a chance.
