It's at Terra....the vegan kiosk. The problem with "meat substitutes" is that they are pretty processed, so aren't usually the healthiest choices. BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Baked Lobster Alfredo? That's like the cousin of lobster mac and cheese, isn't it? I expect that is the cousin that pronounces toe-MAY-toe as toe-MAH-toe. And that reminds me... I need to go buy some lobster.

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Yeah, wonder why! :rofl2: I know. You'd think there would be more demand for fake chicken and fake crab. Here's my issue- if you're a vegan, then why would you want to eat stuff that tastes like the stuff you don't want to eat? TCD

Here's my issue- if you're a vegan, then why would you want to eat stuff that tastes like the stuff you don't want to eat? TCD There are different reasons to be a vegan. Some for ethical reasons. Some for health reasons. If you're a vegan for health reasons, you'd not want to eat those fake foods as they aren't healthy.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I'm thinking our budget of $50 a person won't be enough! Three of us sharing bites! Karen For me, it's in the ballpark. $50 a person would work unless you start buying drinks too. Then, it's not near enough. There are different reasons to be a vegan. Some for ethical reasons. Some for health reasons. If you're a vegan for health reasons, you'd not want to eat those fake foods as they aren't healthy. And that is why that Terra booth is such a fail. Real vegans don't want fake chicken and crab. And non-vegans don't want it either. That booth needs to go. It's a waste of prime space. TCD

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Yup, just food, no drinks. That's what I try to do. The drinks are very expensive, and not as good a value as the food. I stick to bottled water, and maybe have one or two drinks. $50/person will go pretty far then. Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights Live has been cut to one night per week – Thursdays. This $79 three-hour desert party starts this week and was originally scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fall at Disney is typically a slower time of the year. With other options for guests to choose from such as “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” and “Frozen Summer Fun”, the price of the ticket and the time of the event, it seems demand was not met for Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights Live. http://www.chipandco.com/epcot-food-wine-late-nights-live-1-night-week-198693/
