GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
So I'm confused because I saw something else that said AP holders could book tomorrow as well. But I can't find anything from Disney that says this. I called and asked, and the CM I talked to basically couldn't confirm anything. I explained that I heard I might be able to book some things, maybe the dessert party tomorrow, and she said she couldn't confirm but that everything would open on the same date. So what's the real story???
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Unless I'm losing my mind (quite possible), AP and Disney Visa cardholders have gotten a "head start" on booking at least the past few years. I'd go with the tried and true "if you don't get a good answer from the first Disney CM you talk to, call back and try another one"
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I checked back and these were from the last 2 years.. 2013: Booking for Tables in Wonderland members, Annual Passholders, DVC members, and Golden Oak residents begins August 9th for SEMINARS AND DEMONSTRATIONS ONLY (including Mixology). Discounts ($2) will be offered for these events Monday through Thursday only. Booking for all others will begin August 13th at 7AM ET. Call 407-WDW-FEST to book. 2012: Booking will be available for most events on August 14th, 2012, at 7am EST. Guests will be able to book the events online at as well as by phone at 407-WDW-FEST.Booking for Tables in Wonderland Members, Annual Passholders, and DVC Members will begin August 10th at 8am EST for seminars, demos, and Mixology events only. The TIW early booking info I posted came straight from an email I received from TIW. I think you got a CM that didn't know what they were talking about. I'd call back and just tell them you're an AP holder and you were informed that you could book TIW events starting today. Good luck!
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I just called. I would have been able to book demos and seminars, but I could not book the 3D Dessert Party. The CM went and talked to someone, but said that even wasn't open, just the demos and seminars. She said to call back Monday because it looked like I would be able to book it then. GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
If I strike out on Monday (probable), then my friend is going to try to book the 3D dessert party on Tuesday. BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
This was from Brent's TR last year... If you haven't ever experienced this before, it's a lounge that's for Chase cardholders. I don't believe it even has to be a Disney Visa. Any Chase card will do. All three of us have one, but the CM at the door told us one person could have up to 10 guests.

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
From The Adult Side of Disney... Just announced was the Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights LIVE! and the Epcot Food and Wine Premium Package coming to this year’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. The Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights LIVE! will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the festival (starting September 23). The cost is $79 plus tax and this cost will include your admission into the park for the 9:45 start. The “street party” will end at 1 a.m. The party will take place between the United Kingdom and World Showcase Plaza and will include samples of six items from several of the kiosks, a live DJ and musical performances. Epcot Food & Wine Premium PackageThe Premium Package will run Mondays through Thursdays throughout the entire Festival. This package will give you the opportunity to taste wines and foods from the festival and is opened exclusively to guests of Walt Disney World Resorts, the Swan & Dolphin Resorts, and Golden Oak. The cost is $199 plus tax and will include an in-room gift bag with a select bottle of wine, a Food and Wine Festival wine glass, truffles, and your credentials to enter the “Premium Package Area.” Also included will be a themed Food and Wine Magic Band and a $50 gift card. When you arrive at a “premium Package Area” you will order items from select marketplace booths and have them delivered to you! This package also includes admission into Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights LIVE! (a $79 value-see above). Epcot admission is required to participate in the Premium Package. Personally, I think the Premium Package is the way to go. Includes a gift card, entrance into the Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights LIVE! These 2 things alone would cost $129. Add on a special Magic Band, a bottle of wine, a Food and Wine Festival wine glass, truffles and the food you will sample – this is well worth the cost! I would imagine this may sell out quickly once people realize the value – plus no waiting in line for the foods you want to sample! http://theadultsideofdisney.com/epcot-food-and-wine-late-nights-live-and-premium-package-new-this-year/

GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
So here's my question... I could potentially attend that late night party after I fly in on a Thursday, but does the $79 just include food from those booths or also drinks? If it's both, I'd consider it. If it's just $79 for 6 samples, it's not worth it since I don't have to pay admission anyway.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
includes six tastes (food and beverages) from select marketplaces Not really clear and not sure what those beverages will be. For the money, and given it's Food & Wine, I'd think/hope that it's 6 food & beverage combos. Sounds like we need someone to take one for the team and report back. GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I missed the drinks part... my first day back to work has kicked my butt. I'm guessing you just get to sample each once. Hmmmmmmmmm.....
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Trying to book (we figure we can cancel if reviews are bad)... system is down.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Booked! We'll wait and see if the reviews make it seem worth it. Heck, 3 moms that can stay out until 1 AM is pretty exciting on its own.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
And apparently you can't cancel F&W events? Hope it gets good reviews!
