h2odivers...Ray 952
I know that Disney has not announced the dates for 2014 but I'm looking in to an adults only weekend. This may be a dumb questions but we've never been to F & W. so here goes. Is the F & W festival a daily thing or are the food stands only open on the weekends?

Roller ... aka Ed 351
Come down for Halloween. The Fiends have a big gathering; Disney has the Wine & Dine runs (5K and 1/2).

h2odivers...Ray 952
If we came at Halloween we might have to bring DD with us. I think she would kill us if we went to Disney on Halloween and we didn't bring her n

Santa ... Shannon 160
Last year they released the dates on the 21st of Jan, so probably will know any day now.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Ray- If you can possibly plan it to go on a weekday rather than a weekend day, do it. The festival isn't as much fun on weekends, when it is packed solid. You end up spending more time in lines than you do walking around and enjoying the park. If you have to go on a weekend, go during the day- the booths open at 11 am. Friday and Saturday nights are brutal. TCD
h2odivers...Ray 952
TCDI'm thinking Thursday - Sunday. Short trip. How's Sunday and Sunday night? Maybe we could do Friday - Monday.
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
A group of us went in Saturday last Halloween and it wasn't too bad. Much better than Christmas crowd levels.
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
I should add we hit Epcot around 12 and headed out around 5 for the grand gathering b

Santa ... Shannon 160
Oh no, Lou, not doubting your prediction at all, just saying that you should be proved right any day now since this is the time they released the dates last year. And, btw, I don't give a wit when it starts, I'm desperate to know what the LAST day will be. Can't really start planning my trip in earnest util I know that (and MVMCP dates). Lou... 3,118
Oh no, Lou, not doubting your prediction at all, I'm feeling much better now. I did receive a bag of coal for Christmas, seriously, I did. That wasn't you, was it? Can't really start planning my trip in earnest until I know that I will predict that too, Nov 10th. Santa ... Shannon 160
If only I had a tiny bit of faith that that was the right date... what, hunh? What just happened? I didn't say that out loud did I?

I should add we hit Epcot around 12 and headed out around 5 for the grand gathering b To be clear, I am not saying that it's awful to go on a weekend. I enjoy going on the weekends. But, it's much more enjoyable on a weekday. Or during the daytime on a Friday or Saturday. The crowds are big and rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights. This means you will be waiting on long lines at all the food and beverage stations. If you only want to try a couple of things, then go on a weekend- the people watching is the best! Roller ... aka Ed 351
I will predict that too, Nov 10th. the 7th and 8th will be the Wine & Dine runs, so the 10th sounds right.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Last 2 (3?) years the final day has been the Monday closest to Veteran's day, so 11/10 is a good bet in my book.
Lou... 3,118
Big news for the F&WF lovers, it's been extended by a week. It starts on 19th, a week earlier than originally scheduled, instead of the 26th. It ends on Nov 10th.
