wendinator 109
Sweet cream cheeze pretzel at the Lunching Pad is a tasty bit of business. August 2013.
DaveInTN 3,247
That is one of our favorite snacks at the MK. My wife and I love to share one with a cup of coffee on a chilly evening.
Judy in Texas 150
My son-in- law let me try his at Osborne Lights last year. He bought it at a stand near the Star Wars ride. It was yummy.
wendinator 109
I seem to eat the same things over and over again. Here's another sweet cream cheese pretzel. I ordered a small frozen Coke with it, and they handed me two! It was a nice bit of "magic", but I was there alone and couldn't picture myself having both, so I gave the second one away to a random stranger. I hope he didn't think I'd done anything fishy to it! wendinator 109
I might have had two of these over the course of last week. TCD - did you ever try one? BradyBzLyn...Mo
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I can tell you that they make a great breakfast if you ever find yourself at MK at 6am. :)

I thought the Lunching Pad didn't open until 11 am. Can you get them somewhere else at the MK?

It might have been a special occasion because it was the 24 hour MK event. I'm not sure as that's the only time I'm ever at the MK before noon. :rofl2:
Beckers 1,136
I'm so torn about these. I am a pretzel snob. I only like a certain type of Philly pretzels (Jason can attest to their amazingness) but I love cream cheese. I may need to try one.

I finally tried one, for the first time ever, this past Saturday night, March 21. It was worth the wait. Very good! TCD

wendinator 109
I went to the Lunching Pad today for the first time since the cream cheese pretzels were removed and then came back. Ordered my usual frozen Coke and this time it came with a Mickey straw. I don't remember how much a frozen Coke was the last time I got one, but let's assume that since you now get a Mickey straw that the price went up. Pretzel was $4.79 and frozen Coke was $4.69. Beckers 1,136
What shape was that pretzel? It looks like a steering wheel lol
Beckers 1,136
I love to compare Disney prices to real life. I can get 20 pretzels for $5 here

I can get 20 pretzels for $5 here That's because you live in a pretzel mecca, but in most places I'd say a pretzel runs been $1 - $2.50 each.

Was the pretzel as good as before? I remember having these for breakfast when we did the 24 hour MK event and they were delicious.

This one tasted just the same as all the previous ones I've had at the Lunching Pad. And interestingly there's a frozen yogurt place right near where my sister lives that seems to sell the identical ones. I'll have to make a note of how much they charge for them by way of comparison. Good to know they're still good. I didn't realize they'd brought them back and will have to remember that for next time. We actually tried making plain pretzels a couple of weeks ago. They were pretty easy and delicious. And now DH wants to find a way to stuff them with cream cheese. LOL

I admire their ambition but it looked like way more work than I'd ever do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ci05hRcSpk 10 minutes ago, DaveInTN said: If I remember right, it's a sweetened cream cheese, right?
