h2odivers...Ray 952
The also have android and iPhone apps. I use the iPhone one. It's great because it signals you to run or walk, so you don't have to worry about it.Which one do you have? I found several. I'm doing the walk briskly for 30 minutes 3 times a week for two weeks before I start the run than walk program. I don't know if the one I downloaded tells you when to walk/run. I've used the one by Bluefin in the past, so that's the one I downloaded again. I think it's $2. I can play my own music, and it tells me when to walk and when to run. Beckers 1,136
I'm in. My goal is to do a 5k within a year.If you are really out of shape (like me) try Jeff Galloway conditioning program. Couch to 5 k was really hard for me, but doing Jeff's run, walk, run method I was up to 3.5 miles before I got pregnant and stopped.

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Jason is awesome! We need to get back to this trip report! Yoo Hoo? Where are you Olaf? You know, the more I think about it, I think more people need to know Ed's background and the whole story here. This is a man with serious, serious medical issues, but he still trained for and completed these races. What an inspiration! Maybe Ed could do a little trip report of his own, since we are kind of hijacking the hapless snowman's report. TCD PureTcrazy...rita
DramaMama .......... Janet 75
Short update - Thrill/Olaf will chime in shortly. We had a great trip but returned home with loads of work to catch up on and colds we caught from his dad. I was able to see him during the half and full marathon at a few places but didn't get pics. Finding your favorite runner in that immense crowd is unreal! PureTcrazy...rita
Thrill Shakespeare (Andy) 58
Maybe Ed could do a little trip report of his own, since we are kind of hijacking the hapless snowman's report. I don't mind the hijacking at all! I've enjoyed hearing about Ed's races too -- and enjoyed meeting him at the Fort. Olaf will post this evening, complete with pictures. I'll tell you this much for now: running as Olaf is like being a rock star!

fortpartyof4 108
First, I have to say I find the title of this TR somewhat comical……."running fun"??? To many, those words just don't go together! I dabble, and enjoy it, but wouldn't categorize it as fun. OK, perhaps running through Disney parks could be kind of fun. I get the RunDisney updates on my FB page and have to admit, it does look fun and is something I would probably do if I could get down there. Seriously, though, I stand in awe of you and Ed. It is one thing to complete one race! And, from reading this I see you have inspired at least one other person to improve their well-being. Bravo, gentlemen!
