Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Thanks Mo. I'm not going to see a bill in my mailbox, am I?It's all good stuff, but because of the exact situation where the aggressions occurs, we'll have to modify it somewhat.Luckily it occurs only when Buddy is right next to one of us either in a chair or in bed, and Dobby attempts to join in.They're fine together the rest of the time. They eat next to each other, go for walks together, play side by side, but not with each other, and once they're both sitting next to us, Buddy is fine with Dobby practically laying on top of him. It's Buddy's response when he has us all to himself, and Dobby jumps up to join in. Modification is expected as no two situations are exactly alike. And Mo... really, rainbows raining down on Lou's sky... well :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

It's actually good that it's just a guarding "piss off they're mine" situation vs flat out aggression, as (in my opinion anyway) that's easier to manage and work on. First consultation is free. Lou... 3,118
Aaaaahhh, I love that picture! Thanks Jean Ann, took it just this morning. That is sweetness! Dobby is just the sweetest light guy. He just wants to be loved. He'll climb up on your lap, and plop himself down like he's known you forever. He's low maintenance, as long as you play with him once in a while. He hasn't messed in the house at all. He's eating real well, just loves veggies. We're still amazed, and confounded as to why someone brought him back to the shelter after only a month. We were smitten by him on the first day.He went to the Vet for a follow-up exam yesterday, and all's well. He's put on 1/2 lb. which is a lot considering his size, but he's still ok weight wise.We haven't seen him experience another seizure, so we're hoping that he hasn't had any that were unseen by us. I am holding you to that one. I'll be by. BradyBzLyn...Mo

Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Traitor I thought so.For clarification... you showed up long enough to try to find DeVores on Main Street, so you could pose for that pic (hoping to win the Knickers Challenge), and then you vanished... rather quickly. Lou... 3,118
True, but that's what I've done previously, hit and run. There's a photo floating around from the year before that's similar, except at the Fort. I stopped by, got a WWW mug, took the photo, see ya. It is the WWW after all. caveat lector 181
Bandit and Thor know who the pack leader is (borrowed from Ceasar Milano).Great to hear the new family member Is doing well. It's nice to feel like your existence has a bigger meaning. Saving a dog is just plain great. We rescued Bandit (Terrier mix) when he still had baby teeth. I'm not sure how anybody could give him up, but I'm thankful they did.
Lou... 3,118
It's nice to feel like your existence has a bigger meaning. That is true. Saving a dog is just plain great. It is, but all the credit has to go to my wife though. She's the one that did all the work of looking for him, registering with the shelter, and bringing him home. Not that I didn't know it might happen, but it was a complete surprise to me. We rescued Bandit (Terrier mix) when he still had baby teeth. And thanks to you guys for doing that. I'm not sure how anybody could give him up How many times have we heard that?Is it mostly a case of bad owners, and not bad dogs?

She was given up because she broke her leg at 2 years old and the family told the vet to euthanize her because they didn't want to pay to fix it. Really?! THIS face???
