Starbuc71 162
I know this is mentioned somewhere on here but I don't feel like going through every post. Does Disney sell any bait to fish with or do I have to dig up my own worms. If so is there something else you all use for bait on the lakes. I fish very rarely and can barely tie a knot but my kids are now into fishing and I want them to catch something. Thanks
DaveInTN 3,247
I haven't fished Bay Lake, but in the canals and the Meadows pond I have always sworn by left over chicken skin from a GAG.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
They sell containers of worms at the Bike Barn. But folks seem to have better luck with chicken skin and hot dogs. TCD
Spartnman92 0
Little weenies. The older they get, the better they work! When we were there in October, we caught gills, cats and a turtle.
Travisma 1,317
What TCD says. Caught a decent crappie/bluegill/sunfish on a piece of hot dog in the pond to the left of the meadow dock. Saw lots of ripples and splashing in the big canal by the bridge to the meadow from the 1500 loop. Also a camping neighbor caught a lot of catfish in the canal behind 1500/1800. Hot dogs last about 1 cast, then they fall off or get eaten by the minnie fish.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Hot dogs. If you put them in the microwave to dry them out and make the skin a little tough they stay on the hook better.
