Memphis 105
Thanks for the map Mo. People really need to know to not even try the old parking lots. Last time we went to DTD we went into the old parking lot HUGE MISTAKE. We drove around about 15 min looking and found nothing. Then we get back close to the buildings and the traffic comes to a dead stop. We sit for about ten mins and the DW gets out to go see why we stopped and the person at the front of the line had just stopped in the middle of the lane to wait for a parking spot. No one was in sight coming back to leave she was just going to sit there and wait! What an idiot! The DW was trying to tell her she had traffic backed up all the way to the other end of the lot and to move over so people could get around her but she refused. By this time there were at least 60 cars backed up (the line went out of sight) and even a couple of people parked in parking spots that could not leave because of the line. By this time there was quite a crowd of people around her car trying to get her to move. Finally a guy told her to move her car or he was going to drag her out of her car and move it himself. When he opened her door she finally moved over enough so other people could squeeze by. Needless to say by this time we are all so worked up we just want out to go back to the campsite. Some people are only alive because it's illegal to kill them!

Memphis 105
Yeesh!! We didn't even attempt to drive to DTD this recent trip after hearing all the recent parking nightmares. The one time we went down we took the bus.I wasn't even going at first. The rest of the group had caught a bus up front to catch the DTD bus but my daughter had the 3 month-old grand baby and fighting the stroller on and off the buses was more trouble than they were expecting so they called from the front and "asked" (AKA told me) if I would come take them in the truck. Damn cell phones.
