CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
I've reached the point in this TR where it's difficult to go on. A 3, 5, or 7 day TR would be so easy. But 17 days?!? I'm spending at least 6 hours per day working on it. Copying, editing, resizing ... posting to PB ... writing text ... uploading and on and on. Please help! I need some encouragement! GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Don't stop!!!! I want to hear about the rest of your trip. There is a way to make photobucket resize when you upload. I don't remember how, but I'm sure someone does.
AC in A2......Aaron 693
I am also enjoying reading your TR Gwen. Don't Stop Believin........ Whoops. Journey flashback. Just, don't stop.
Laura 17
Do you want to see a grown woman cry? I think trip reports would be great for the trip reporter as well as a keepsake.
alexwyattmommy 181
Sorry I haven't been able to post much. I am home now. And I really, really want to see more of your photos. We didn't do parks this time, so the only memories I have will be yours.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Loving the pix. Keep on keeping!I need my Disney fix!
DaveInTN 3,247
Gwen, I don't want you to stop, but I also think there must be an easier way to upload the pics. I hear so many people complain about how onerous the PB process is. I have always used Picasa and it's incredibly simple. But I suppose your pictures have huge file sizes to manage and maybe the uploading takes longer because of it?
Lou... 3,118
Trip reports are a lot of work, and even though I don't read them, kudos to those that are willing to put in the work to write them.
momof3kids-Yvonne 596
I have really enjoyed this report and do not want you to stop. The first week with the kids and grand kids seemed to fly by. I know you said they kept going non stop. Then you got to take a more leisurely trip with just David and you. I think your trip report should reflect this. So, take a little break. Enjoy the season of Advent. But please come back to this when you are ready. We will be here or somewhere near by waiting for you. :heartsmiley:
PureTcrazy...rita 380
Gwen, you know a lot of people read, but don't always comment! I'm here! It is time consuming, but in the end it is worth it!
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
What's this talk of quitting? No ma'am. You are not going to quit. This is one of the best TR's I've ever seen, and you need to finish it. You will be so glad that you did. Don't look at how much you have left to go. Focus on one post at a time. Take your time and post when you can. Don't cut corners. If it takes a long time, so be it. Unless I missed it, I don't think you've mentioned the ant in the Cheerios yet. You can't leave us hanging. Judy in Texas 150
Sorry I missed you, too, Gwen. Glad you were out having a good time. Happy to be of service. Great report!
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT! Don't stop!!!! I want to hear about the rest of your trip. There is a way to make photobucket resize when you upload. I don't remember how, but I'm sure someone does. Thanks, Kelly. I will keep plowing along. I'm resizing before I upload. So that I'll have them the size I want for my scrapbook. Many of my 3500+ photos were shot at 20 MG. I'm downsizing to 2 MG, which will print nicely for the scrapbook. I am also enjoying reading your TR Gwen. Don't Stop Believin........ Whoops. Journey flashback. Just, don't stop. Thank you, Aaron. Happy that you are enjoying it. Do you want to see a grown woman cry? I think trip reports would be great for the trip reporter as well as a keepsake. Laura, thanks for reading along! The trip reports ARE a great keepsake. It's just all the work that goes into them. Sorry I haven't been able to post much. I am home now. And I really, really want to see more of your photos. We didn't do parks this time, so the only memories I have will be yours. Thanks, Annie. I still have around 2,000 pictures to go through. Loving the pix.Keep on keeping!I need my Disney fix! I will keep on plowing through, Ray. Just at a slower pace since the holidays are approaching. Thanks for the tip, Dave. I'll check into Picasa. Trip reports are a lot of work, and even though I don't read them, kudos to those that are willing to put in the work to write them. Thank you, Lou. I appreciate you being here! CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
I have really enjoyed this report and do not want you to stop. Thank you, Yvonne. The first week with the kids and grand kids seemed to fly by. I know you said they kept going non stop. Yes, that first week did fly by! Then you got to take a more leisurely trip with just David and you. I think your trip report should reflect this. I hope it will! So, take a little break. Enjoy the season of Advent. But please come back to this when you are ready. We will be here or somewhere near by waiting for you. :heartsmiley: I'll keep posting but will slow down. With the holidays coming on, my time to work on it will be more limited. I think I was pushing too hard to get it done quickly b/c of the holidays and have just gotten burned out. Gwen, you know a lot of people read, but don't always comment! I'm here! It is time consuming, but in the end it is worth it! Thanks, Rita. I know it will be worth it ... just gotta do it. TCD Thank you, TCD! One of my problems is that I've been writing, posting, uploading, editing, all at the same time. Another is that I didn't take copious notes like I usually do. Didn't have time when the kids were around, and then after they left I just got lazy. No, the ants in the Cheerios are a few days later in the trip. I promise not to leave you hanging ... you will all have to wait a bit longer than I had hoped. Sorry I missed you, too, Gwen. Glad you were out having a good time. Happy to be of service. Great report! Thanks, Judy!

CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Another real-life update. Mom has been complaining about her eyesight since the accident. I spent the afternoon yesterday taking her to her eye doctor. It turns out she may have a detached retina from the accident. Tomorrow I will spend another half day or more taking her to the retinal specialist. If they do find something wrong, they will repair it. Then on Thursday I'll spend another half day taking her to her family doctor for a follow-up appointment due to the accident. I don't know how your doctors are, but here they ask you to arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment and then take you back at least an hour after your appointment. Then it's another 30 minutes to an hour before you see the doctor. Then add in nearly an hour of driving each way. Sorry. Just ranting.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Monday, November 11 - Part 2 Continuing our walk ... Inside the ladies' room: We decided to hunt for Pascal's friends. Does anyone know how many chameleons there are? We found these five. There are three more that TCD got photos of in his March TR. Wonder if we've found them all. Okay, let's walk some more. I hadn't realized how imposing the mine train will be when completed. Walking into New Fantasyland, it blocks the view of everything else. These characters are so funny! At this point we were nearing the time for our BTMRR FP, so we hopped on the train and rode around to the Frontierland station. We arrived early, so can anyone take a wild guess as to what I did to pass the time? Duh! I took more pictures! Another pitifully small service dog area: Near photo limit ... to be continued. Tri-Circle-D 2,059
That is a fantastic collection of photos, Gwen! Great job on all of them. I have no idea how many lizards they have hidden in that area. They ought to post that on the sign. I know that there's one hiding up on the wall there, which you don't seem to have a photo of. DaveInTN 3,247
I'm not trying to start another controversy here....but that Lady Tremaine looks an awful lot like a dude. There is one woman I've seen play the part many times and she's VERY good at it...and is definitely a woman. This looks suspicious to me though. I know she's kind of a scary character, so you don't want someone TOO feminine, but c'mon. And...I love your castle photos, Gwen.
