alexwyattmommy 181
We love the water bridge too. We aren't doing parks, but I plan on take the boat over the bridge a couple of times anyway. :D
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
You're doing a good job raising those kids if they like boat rides and the water bridge. It's too bad you missed the Shoe Tree and Discovery Island. But, you were probably better off getting transportation back to your hotel from the Lodge than you would have been from the Fort. Although, it wouldn't have been that easy from the Lodge either. How did you get back? I got confused by something in your post- where you say you're pulling up to the MK, you must have already been on the WL boat and actually leaving the MK. Y'all are on a small boat in that photo, and that isn't the same boat you left the GF aboard. TCD

Never got off the boat at the WL (remember Daddy was getting grumpy). Then we went to the MK got off that boat and went back to the Poly via boat because the Monorail was down. Remember our car was still at the Poly. And the pictures of the MK were of us arriving I'm pretty sure. But the picture of the boat with the blue canopy shouldn't be there. It must have gotten in the wrong place. That is the boat we road after getting to the MK. I'm highly impressed that you noticed that!!! Sorry for the confusion!! fowlandfishmommy 10
Now to the Halloween Party!!! We weren't going to do the Halloween Party but decided to use it to ride as many rides as possible. I had read that we would be going on the least crowded party day of the year (a Tuesday night) and I figured we could get some major rides under our belts. My boys have tons of food allergies so trick or treating isn't really all that fun for us. Plus my kids don't eat a lot of sugar or candy so I really don't get the whole stand in line all night to get candy thing. My kids had no interest in it. We were so right to do this. It was a great decision. And we got 4 bags of allergy free candy from the Town Hall before we left. We had some fastpass+ reservations set for Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. We also were trying to enjoy the time with no rain (for now)! A castle show was going on so we stopped to watch from afar. It was pretty crowded. On to Splash Mountain. When we took Fowl when he was 2 he was barely too short to ride. He cried. So I couldn't wait to take him back to ride it. After all of my talking about it, he decided he was scared of it. So I made him watch the YouTube video of it and convinced him he would love it. He went with Daddy first. Here they are... Look at that smile!! By the way as you can see we did not have awesome costumes. My boys love to dress up all the time. So getting dressed up for this didn't really thrill them. The husband begged me not to pack any and honestly I'm so so so glad we didn't. It was hot and muggy and it rained A LOT that night. I saw many a miserable kid. So me and the boys wore Halloween tshirts. I am sad that we didn't get any Photopass pictures done that night. But with all the rain it just didn't happen. This is the cutie I was waiting with on the bridge. On to Thunder Mountain. Can you see them in the front? Here they are super blurry. Waiting... Notice how we ever so smartly hooked our water bottles to the stroller. :) I can't remember what we rode after this but we eventually went to dinner at Cosmic Rays. FYI there are only sandwiches and burgers on party nights. I also got the cucumber salad and it was all really good. (I love the toppings bar) and we got the really awesome slushy type seasonal drinks as our desserts. Caramel Apple Slush This picture was from http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorized/is-that-a-new-sausage-i-guess-well-round-it-up-to-a-3-0-the-new-normal-magic-kingdom-feels-crowded-101513/ While we were eating it began POURING!!! We got the stroller and brought it in the bottom part of Cosmic Rays, got our ponchos on and put the rain cover on the stroller. And we were off!

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Sorry about the rain at the Halloween party! I hope it was done and over with quick. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your evening. Your photos are great. TCD
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Too bad Lou doesn't read trip reports. He'd start touturing you about Josh. Too bad about the rain but hopefully that means short lines!
fowlandfishmommy 10
Okay I'm finally back!! I can't believe I have been gone for over a month. I'm going to try to get this out before we start back to school so here goes. First I hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Christmas. We sure did! And I'd like to add a big WAR EAGLE! It was a fun night at our house when Auburn beat Alabama in one second. It was complete pandemonium. So we had just left Cosmic Ray's. We were all geared up in our ponchos and stroller rain cover. I'm not sure if I mentioned it or not but Daddy absolutley hated wearing a poncho. It made him very unhappy. But he did it. :) Fowl and I didn't mind too much, but the camera had to stay put up a lot so we didn't have as many pictures as I would have liked. Fish had a sweet rain cover for the stroller. It was the same one we used with another stroller when we went with just Fowl three years ago. Best $5 I ever spent. It works great! We went to Buzz Lightyear's space ranger spin and rode it 2 times in a row. This was one of our pictures. Serious concentration going on. :) Next up our first look at the new Dumbo's Circus area. It was completely soaked but everything looked great. We were very impressed. Then we walked towards Little Mermaid ride and the fireworks started. They were beautiful but Fish was not a fan so we went on into the ride. We all loved it and definitely did not think it SMB. I would have loved to have ridden it again. This picture cracks me up. After that I'm not sure of the order of things. Is this still Little Mermaid? Anyone? And onto IASW. The boys loved it!!! After that I'm pretty sure we ran to see some of the parade. I'll have that next update!

fowlandfishmommy 10
Glad you're back! I think the yellow seat is Pooh? Ahh yes! Pooh! And the boys loved it and it is one of my favorites.
fowlandfishmommy 10
On with the show. Hopefully this will finish up the Halloween Party. We sprinted to see some of the parade. I hated to miss it but didn't want to wait for it either. We were afraid the boys would be freaked out. The weren't though. Nothing scared them the entire night. I'm not sure what was going on here. But our favorite was the dance with the shovels. Fowl could not get over the sparks they made. I think not being close helped the boys not to be freaked out, because these guys are weird. Oh and the castle!! One of our other goals for the night was to get Fish ears to match brother's so we could have great pictures in the morning. We headed to the hat store close to the entrance and I have no idea what the name of it is. We love it though. It was very close to midnight and wasn't very crowded. Thanks to that awesome nap the boys were going strong. They had a blast trying on hats. They also wanted baseball caps as souvenirs. They love baseball caps and we have about 500 of them. :) Not really but we are getting there. This CM played this little game with them and they loved it. She was so nice. And it always amazes me that they seem so genuinely excited to see cute little boys when you know they see a million every day. Right before we left I ran over to town hall. We didn't stand in any candy lines as A. We are not fans of lines and B. Fowl can't even be around peanuts or peanut butter so we didn't want to chance it. So I went to the counter and explained the situation. He asked how many of us there were. And he brought out 4 bags of nut and egg free candy and treats. The boys were thrilled. (So were Mommy and Daddy) Heading out with our new hats. I call this tired but still eating some chocolate. And Fish was out. I know it was midnight but we were still pretty surprised that he did this. My kids are not the go to sleep in a stroller, or in your lap kind of kids. Still asleep in the Pop elevator. The next day is Wednesday and a full day at MK!
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Enjoying your TR!
fowlandfishmommy 10
And here we are. Wednesday morning! Full Day at MK. And its raining AGAIN! We were still excited! The awesome rain cover and some ladies awesome pants. :) Don't you love their cute license plate for the stroller. Fowl and I love Swiss Family Robinson, so on to that. I am especially into anything involving being stranded on an island. That movie started it all. Fish walked the whole thing, I was so impressed. Then the Magic Carpets. My kids are big fans! Then the Tiki Room. I haven't done it since high school and the rest of us never have. Next up Be Our Guest for lunch! WOOHOO!!!

fowlandfishmommy 10
Finally seeing the New Fantasyland in the daytime. Wow beautiful!! Remember we had received an email telling us we were chosen to do a fastpass+ for this. We were pumped and had already picked our meal online. We went to the podium told them our name and they told us to walk in and told us the name of the person to see. We weren't given a rose at all. I'm not sure why. Anyway we went in and were greeted by a CM with a ipad. She was not the same one they told us to see but said she promised she was the right person. I think they had just switched shifts. They told us to pick a table and have a seat. We slowly in with our mouths hanging open. It was amazing. I mean beyond amazing. I was so so so excited. We got a table right beside the big snowy window. Which was beautiful and the boys loved it. Soon our meal was delivered as well as our cups. We ordered the following... (I couldn't take pictures but found these)Daddy - steak sandwichhttp://www.laughingplace.com/Lotion-View-1384-2.asp Mommy - braised pork (They had me at braised) http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?restaurant.id=615 Fowl and Fish - whole wheat pasta (looked sort of like this)http://www.childmode.com/2013/06/06/review-of-the-be-our-guest-restaurant-in-new-fantasyland-photo-heavy/ We all really enjoyed our meal. One of the best of the trip. This experience was above and beyond any regular counter service meal. Our cupcakes were delicious. I can't remember what Daddy had, but I had the grey stuff cupcake. I didn't know it was an option until we received our email and it was a choice. It was heaven!! We checked things out after we were done.
fowlandfishmommy 10
Now to the circus area. The boys love water anywhere anytime. So they went straight to Casey's train. They were basically the only kids playing in the water. And the people just walking through and apparently not noticing the water amazed me. After a change of clothes we were on to ride the Great Goofini.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
You did get a lot of rain! At least you have a good attitude about it though. I love the cheesy smile Fish gives you. Reminds me of my son. I've done BOG dinner twice, and I'm excited to try lunch in January. Your pictures look great! Yum Yum! The pork is what I'll probably order.
fowlandfishmommy 10
Looks like a very low crowd level. That's always good. We really only waited in line twice. It was great. I think the rain kept some people away. We just can't go during the crowded times. We aren't fans of crowds. :) You did get a lot of rain! At least you have a good attitude about it though. I love the cheesy smile Fish gives you. Reminds me of my son. I've done BOG dinner twice, and I'm excited to try lunch in January. Your pictures look great! Yum Yum! The pork is what I'll probably order. We did and there is more to come. It rained every single day of an 8 day trip. But it wasn't all day everyday. And it wasn't cold. And we were in Disney World so it was okay. Fish is a sweet boy but a little rascal too. :) The lunch was so awesome! After our great experience with the counter service plan and all the great options, I think will stick with it. We really enjoyed it and BOG is one of the reasons. fowlandfishmommy 10
Next it was over to Advetureland. We stopped to watch the Jack Sparrow show. The actors were really good. We were amazed with how much this Jack Sparrow looked like the real one. We really enjoyed the show. The boys could see everything very well and understood the whole thing. There were only 2 things I didn't like. 1.) At the end they invited certain kids on the stage after it was over. This was the problem - there was only maybe 20 kids max watching the show and they invited about 12 of them. The rest of the non invited kids went on the stage anyway. Well except my kids because we are rule followers. :) It didn't bother me too much though, because A. people are crazy, don't follow rules, and have no manners, and I learned that long ago and B. We don't make a stink about things not being fair with our boys. We don't want them to think life is fair and we want them to get over stuff quickly. And they weren't upset at all. They may not have even noticed. 2.) There were these 2 20ish girls watching the show. They were dressed in really awesome pirate garb. But it was pretty reveling. That didn't really bother me, but they where blowing kisses, winking, and waving at Jack the whole time. It was creepy. Just very weird and made me uncomfortable. We thought they were in the show at first but the weren't. Strange! I'm thinking it was sort of like a BIG Wendy thing (TCD) but they were very pretty girls. Next up the parade... Making our way out to take an nap. Oops! Fish is asleep before we get to the bus.
alexwyattmommy 181
I'm thinking some of the men folk would have liked to see these Wendy-Wannbe-Pirates to judge for themselves. Great update!
