Tankpilot 9
Can anyone recommend a good griddle for camping? I am wanting one to plug in and use outside of the trailer to cook breakfast on.
dblr....Rennie 224
We got a deep type skillet at Kohl's by the Food Network, used to use a flat one but now use this type all the time.
ImDownWithDisney 342
I have a Black & Decker griddle that works well.
Judy in Texas 150
We have a Presto griddle that works well for pancakes, french toast, sandwiches. I wouldn't use it for bacon. The trough (sp?) around the edge drains grease into a little removable cup; but, it wouldn't be easy to clean.
Travisma 1,317
We have a rectangle, deep Presto skillet that we use for everything. We also have a Cuisenart Panini maker (like a George Forman) that you can use closed to grill sandwiches, cook meat, etc. It can also cook opened up, and it has a second set of flat inserts to cook on. CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
If I'm cooking bacon outdoors, I use the grill. Less cleanup.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Presto griddle from Walmart. The cheap $20 ones. I use a rubber spatulla and once the non stick surface wears off I throw it away and get a new one. And Judy is right. Make sure you get one with a big drain cup for bacon.
