BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
The Disney Food Blog has posted a review of the Yachtsman Steakhouse located at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/09/11/guest-review-yachtsman-steakhouse-at-disneys-yacht-club-resort/ Excerpts below. We've eaten here a few times and have always had excellent meals. Portions are generous and we've been very happy getting a couple of sides or appetizers and splitting an entree. DaveInTN 3,247
I enjoy a good steakhouse, but those pictures don't appeal to me. And my problem is, I enjoy a good steakhouse when I can put it on the expense report. I don't want to pay for it myself. :rofl3:
jjbescher 17
The food at Yachtsman was great. We went in August. I wore shorts to the place and no one said anything to me. Prices were high, but I thought the food better than Le Cellier. jon
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
An interesting change to the Yachtsman menu is the 32oz porterhouse for two that comes with 3 sides and potato gratin for the low low price of $110.00. From the Disney Food Blog... A portion of the Yachtsman Steakhouse Menu http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2014/07/15/whats-new-around-disney-world-july-16th-2014/ While that may sound outrageous, keep in mind that's a 2 pound steak with a bunch of sides - which are normally only offered a la carte at Yachtsman at $6-$10 each. Having split the 28oz porterhouse before with only 2 sides, this is a LOT of food. Throw a TIW discount on top of this, and lunch the next day (if not breakfast too), and by WDW standards, this is practically a bargain.
