Among the info confirmed...There will be new operating and lifeguard hours for all Walt Disney World Resort feature and popular poolsLifeguards will be present during operating hours of all currently guarded poolsQuiet pools will remain unguarded and open 24 hours a dayImplementation of these changes will start with Art of Animation, Pop Century and All-Stars Resorts on September 29th and is expected to be complete in November. In addition WDW has confirmed that they are in the process of adding pool fences as part of their regular refurbishment process. No exact timeline given for specific resorts.
