It was wet everywhere and the dog park was pretty much under water. We are going to be back at the Fort in 9 days; is it dry there now? I sure hope so! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Travisma 1,317 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Share Posted September 14, 2013 We were there last weekend. We had rain Friday and Saturday and were in the 1500 loop. There was some standing water between some sites, but not nearly as bad when we were there two weeks prior in the 1800 loop. Overall most of the "lakes" seemed to be a lot smaller and were steadily drying up. There were Mosquitos and the giant biting horseflies on both trips. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

We are normally in 500 and I may just give them a call to see if we can arrive a day early. Sure glad to read the standing water has subsided. Keeping fingers crossed that this time we have no rain.
