Tankpilot 9
I have been wanting to figure out a way to display a flag at our campsite. I have seen the PVC constructed flagpoles but wanted to try something a little different (no PVC). I saw the "flagpole to go" on amazon and came up with this idea. Total cost was about $49 at Lowes, including the flag (which was $25 of the total). I just hope the bent EMT can hold up under the weight. I will put it under my jack stand instead of the weight dist hitch. Not good with this adding a pic thing, has taken me a while.
Tankpilot 9
Well, only a thumbnail pic. Can't figure out how to attach a large one.
DaveInTN 3,247
Looks great! To attach full size pics, host them on a picture hosting site like Photobucket, Picasa, etc. Then you can copy the URL of the pic there and paste into the picture dialogue box here. wak648...Bill 94
Great idea! I have my flag holders screwed to a piece of 2x4 and ratchet strap it to a tree. Unfortunately when we don't have a tree for us to us, I have to forgo putting my flags up. I love the idea of using the foot of the trailer tongue to brace to holder.
