Travisma 1,317 Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 Saw one of these on I-4 yesterday heading eastbound out of Tampa. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vixen_(RV) The one I saw didn't have the A/C on the roof or the upper windows/bubble like the one in the wiki article It was an interesting looking RV. First saw it in my rear view and couldn't figure out what it was. It definitely was low and wide. I was doing about 65 in my Caravan work vehicle, and it ended up passing me. Too bad they aren't still around, considering the cost of fuel nowadays. They let me check it out and talk to them about it. kinda reminded me of a big VW camper on the inside because of the rear engine compartment and they claimed around 30mpg.
