Starbuc71 162
I jut got online to book our spring break trip for march 2014 and I almost fell off the chair. The price for a premium site was $141.61 per night and a tent site was $96.19 if you could believe that. We're these rates mentioned here before. The site stated I was looking at non-discounted rates. Should I wait to book in hopes the rates will change? This is rediculous. If these are the true rates, I may pull a 2010 TCD boycott. I can stay at a very nice resort for those prices. I am going to call Disney to see if these are true rates. Any help?
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
WOW! Really? I don't remember seeing them that high, but I'm not looking for 2014. I'd PM Katman and see if he can get you a better rate.
Millermouseketeers MaryAnn 150
I was shocked when I saw them too!
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
Prices went up quite a bit and if you are near a holiday they are even worse. What dates were you looking at?
ImDownWithDisney 342
Those rates do include a complementary tube of KY.
Beckers 1,136
Holy crap. We were talking about renting a trailer and staying at the fort for our Halloween 2015 or 2016 trip but sounds like it will be Pop for us.
Starbuc71 162
I just called Disney and they quoted $129 for a premium site for the 3rd week of March 2014. She stated she had no idea why the wesite was different and also said they have not released anything about 2014 as of yet. I am going to wait til October then check again. I was just trying to get the ressie out of the way. If the $141 is true for new 2014 prices I will have to really think if camping is worth the money. As many of you know, we live a little over an hour away from the fort and that s the only place we camp. We can stay at awesome resort off property for those rates and do 80% less work and they even park my car...lol. If anyone's here's of rates for 14, let me know
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
2014 rates were released last month. Yet another clueless CM on the phone. I am seeing $129 as the highest price for premium in March. I would have to call to see if there were any AAA or AP discounts available.
Starbuc71 162
She also stated that 2 of those days were $132 a night and with tax and what not it was $142 per night. Total BS.
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
She also stated that 2 of those days were $132 a night and with tax and what not it was I've $142 per night. Total BS. I was just coming back to update my post. I hit post before writing that price I wrote did not include tax.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
There's definitely something up with the website. You can run dates to check availability - and that spits out a price, but the seasonal pricing charts don't go past 2013. Not sure if that means the rates popping up aren't correct?
Grumpy and Grandma 740
The rates for Oct 2014 are only $6 a day higher than this year. The rates came out a while back because Jason booked next year for us already.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
She also stated that 2 of those days were $132 a night... Weekend nights are usually a few dollars more than weekday, so if you have a weekend in there, that's possible.
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
Yep all of next years rates were released on July 10th.

I hate going through the phone prompts only to get an idiot on the other end...lol That's really weird. I just went thought the normal site and came up with a completely different price than what I get if I book it on the TA site. If I were to book the month of March on the TA site it would be $4096 including taxon the regular Disneyworld.com site it is $4235.67 including the tax I think I am going to send an email off to people at Disney about the price difference. Not sure why the disneyworld.com site is different.
Thrill Shakespeare (Andy) 58
... a tent site was $96.19 if you could believe that. Wow, where is that campsite? On the top floor of the Contemporary? Beside the geyser at Wilderness Lodge? By the banks of the Jungle Cruise? If one night of campground fees is more than the cost of your tent......you may have a problem.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
The problem with the Disney website is that it shows you an "average" nightly rate including tax.

Just in case you haven't noticed, and I am sure you have but if someone reading hasn't, under the average rate there is a link to show the actual rate per night. Yes, I know that, but then that link shows the rate without tax. They really confuse folks on the booking site.
