Grumpy and Grandma 740
Nice but quaint. You can tell it's been here a while and is "beachy".The officeThe poolTent sitesOther sitesBig rig, "pull in" 50 amp, wes, cableOne of the bath housesMany sites are pull thru with 50 amp wes cable, but are positioned very differently than what most parks do. Peak weekly rate $380.00, holidays higher. Good Sam disc on daily rate only, as weekly discount is slightly higher. We would definitely come back here if in the area.<br />

Retired & Tired (Judy) 90
We have been staying at the River Plantation Campground since July 6th. Will be here til the 21st. Celebrating my birthday here (19th). We really like it and the people are nice who run it. We will try to get pictures and post them...once we learn how to post them. :jumpforjoyWe are enjoying our vacation but it has been a hard trip. I drove the van behind the RV & trailer from Ga. to Tn. We stopped at a rest stop and a man told us we had a flat tire on the trailer. About 2 hours later we were back on the road thanks to Good Sam finding a man who could replace the tire. Got to the campground around 9:30 pm. Got set up and Ken could not get the jacks to go down and the slideout would not work. He replaced fuses and nothing has helped. So we have been living without the jacks and slide out....not easy. Saturday Ken left with the granddaughters and one friend for Mobile. They had to be home this week for various things. On the way down he had a tire go out and he had to replace it. Luckily he had a spare We have both decided that we HAVE to find a new RV with at least 2 front slide outs and maybe 1 in the back. Please keep an eye open for us. Need one about 37-38 ft. with the 2 front slides and maybe 1 or 2 in the back. Does not matter the age as long as it is in good shape. Thanks. Hopefully we will have an uneventual trip home Sunday. Prayers appreciated.

GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I figured I'd add some pictures of Rivers End. We're enjoying our stay here. Sites are close together, but I knew to expect that. All the employees have been great. There is wifi and ice/firewood delivery. The beach is a close walk. We've seen dolphins multiple times each day. There are several good and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance. Pool which has never been very crowded. Actually this day was the most crowded so far. Office with a good selection at the storeOur site (37)Pavilion Different bath house than Dave posted. Love the trees here. Packed in The lighthouse nearby

GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
It would only be 4 1/2 in a car with no traffic, but we have to go thru Atlanta, so what are the chances of that?!?!

GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Do you remember... was it closer to the 6 hours you thought it would be?It depends when you leave and of there is construction. I'd say expect 5-5 1/2 and be excited if it takes less.If you go, you MUST eat at the North Beach Grill.
