Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Mo... next time can we do this? Please? please? please? Ok really i'd be happier at TE but... please!
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
It's been over 20 years since we had dinner at Chef Mickey's, so I can't give an opinion. But I can can compare breakfast at CM to TE. While CM had a larger selection, the quality of food was much better at TE. At a much lower price. Just MHO.
DaveInTN 3,247
If I didn't want to get tons of pics of my kids with the major characters, I wouldn't even consider dining at CM's. The food is very Lou.
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
We did breakfast at CM last Oct. It was ok. Other than the campfire, which we have tons of pics with C&D, we don't usually do character things. I haven't done dinner but I would probably prefer TE...
DaveInTN 3,247
We've done breakfast a couple times and it was decent. We did dinner for the first time this year on NYE, and we had a vomit incident so I don't really remember much about dinner. (fortunately, the incident was in the bathroom). Anyways, a sick kid will put a damper on things for sure.
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
We have the allergy issue so typically he would have to eat pizza or waffles of we went, depending on time of day.

CM? Not sounding promising. Food looks good in the review, but saving a ringing endorsement on the taste, and throwing the chaos in on top of it... I'd rather hop the monorail to the Poly and snag a seat at the sushi bar - where you can order off the Kona menu and we can both get drinks in pineapples. Plus if Turkey Pants is with us you won't catch her eating (or doing anything else) within a 100 yard radius of a character. She practically flipped her lid when Tigger mauled *me* at 3am. On the flip side, that girl is ALLLLLLL about the baked potato bar at TE.

I happen to love the baked potato bar at TE too....
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Ok.. you lost me at Sushi. You missed the "you can order off the Kona menu" (while I stuff my face full of sushi) part.

Yep.. you lost me at Sushi... the reordering of the words makes a huge difference... what's on the Kona Menu?

.....Gary 85
I'm definitely a Trail's End guy,,, except for the scalloped potatoes at the Chef's. I make them here at home and my son & I could go through a pan by ourselves.

GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
We actually enjoyed CM for Easter. Would I eat there without a kid? No. Is it awesome for young kids? YES! I also have a confession. I've never eaten dinner at TE. Should I? Since my family can't even finish a GAG, it seems like a waste of money. Am I wrong? I can justify Mickey's Backyard BBQ because of the entertainment, but I'm not sure about TE dinner.
DaveInTN 3,247
We've had dinner at TE's a couple times when we were exhausted, it was raining so we didn't want to cook at the site, and went in on a last minute whim. In that situation for us it is like heavenly comfort food. But it's not something I ever plan, for some reason. It's always good though...a perfect plan B.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
We really enjoy the new (non buffet) lunch menu at TE and if you're a breakfast person, the morning buffet is really good too and a pretty decent value for money. The dinner buffet food is quite tasty, but if you're a light eater, might not be worth the $.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I do enjoy the breakfast!
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Don't skip the pecan rolls...
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Dinner offers us a few things you just can't make in a trailer often or well, like baked potatos, and things that don't turn out well with egg replacer, like cornbread. Love the salad bar too
