BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
The Disney Food Blog has posted a review and comparison of the various pot roast dishes found in restaurants around Walt Disney World. I'm sure there are some Fiend experiences and opinions to share on this topic. :) http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/06/11/walt-disney-world-pot-roast-throw-down/#more-84044 Excerpts..Mom's Old-Fashioned Pot Roast[50s Prime Time Cafe - Disney's Hollywood Studios] Pot Roast Platter at the Contempo Cafe Liberty Tree Tavern Pot Roast New Pot Roast Sandwich at Beaches and Cream
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Every single pot roast I've tried at Disney has been really awesome!
LONE-STAR 370
There all good but my least favorite is the one at the contempo cafe it ok but nothing I would make a trip for. But liberty tree and prime time dinner are great.
DaveInTN 3,247
That 50's PTC pot roast is awesome. Having said that....I usually do a pot roast in the crock pot while we are camping and it's just as good, and a lot cheaper. Doesn't come with a PBJ milkshake, though. Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I recall speaking to fellow Fiend Pirate Jeff about the pot roast served at Port Orleans Riverside. The man made a special trip there every time he was at the Fort just to get the pot roast. This is a man I trust implicitly on all matters gastronomic. After all, he has a macaroni and cheese dish named after him. I went there myself to try it. Sadly, As far as I can tell, it is off the menu. TCD
Memphis 105
I'm with DIT on this one. I make a good slow cooker pot roast myself and it is soooo easy and for the price of one plate from Disney I can feed the whole family and have leftovers for sandwiches the next day.
