AP Parking at Hollywood Studios

There have been (as yet unconfirmed) reports  that Annual Passholders are having their IDs checked and tickets scanned when parking at Hollywood Studios. Speculation is that there may be abuse of AP parking at DHS, but it hasn't been officially confirmed yet if this will be new standard operating procedure for all parks or if it is temporary.

Not special, but parking is free at all parks if you have an AP.

I just can't imagine this becoming a standard thing.

Cars are backed up to the CBR intersection when it's busy, and that's without checking IDs.

I've heard that there has been some kind of AP abuse or theft, and they're trying to end whatever it is.

So the ID checking was also happening at AK. It was a pain - especially since your name is just handwritten on the new AP's. Mine is hardly legible. They weren't checking at DHS the couple of times I drove in.

I can confirm that just the AP had to be shown on 6/8/13 for admission to DHS.  No photo ID requested.
