I fixed Gwen's post to suit me.

I agree the imbicile needs to go on Dave's DB thread. Keep it coming. I am really enjoying Topsail!

Thank you! Our panhandle beaches are gorgeous for sure! We haven't been to that campground though. In fact, we haven't camped at the beach at all. I tried to make reservations at the last minute for our spring break. That did not work! :) Z is absolutely adorable!

Safe travels home.

Thanks for sharing the cabin photos.

Z is such a cutie. No wonder all the girls want their picture taken with him.

I went into a cabin this time too. They are simple, but clean and have everything you need. The screened decks are great.

Sorry this vacation is ending!  It's been so much fun reading along.  Thanks for sharing, and have a safe trip home!

I'm sad it had to end.

Safe travels Kelly.

Z is a chick magnet.

What a Player.

He seriously is. I've never seen anything like it. And he's 4. That scares me.

Z has more luck at 4 than I did between the ages of 12-25.

I was just thinking the same the same thing. That and if I was still single I would want Z as my wingman.

He has been used as a successful wingman by some teen boys in the past.

They really are! Last minute doesn't work well there, but sometimes things open up. We always book 11 months in advance. Make a ressie!!!

Have a good safe trip home! Thanks for allowing us to tag along I've really enjoyed reading about your vacation.

Thanks for reading!

A few final pictures and thoughts.

Saturday morning, I ran here to get some breakfast. Man, it was busy.

My purchase

I was excited to try the red velvet cake doughnut (or donut). It's one of my favorites at our local gourmet doughnut place. You can see them in the bottom left of the box. The Donut Hole version was good, but it doesn't compete with Dutch Monkey Doughnuts.

This is their version.... LOTS more cream cheese icing.

So, you people who like the Donut Hole need to come to Cumming, GA and try Dutch Monkey. Sorry.

Our trip back was HELL. There was lots of traffic. It took 90 minutes longer than getting there. I'm not leaving on a Saturday again. And we almost got into a bad accident, while I was standing to get something for Zachary. I'm bruised and look beat up, so I'm never doing that again.

But I can't end on a bad note. It was an amazing trip. Z cried when we left. I love that he calls Topsail our beach neighborhood. He feels at home there, and so do we. We'll be returning next June. :)

Great job on this report!

It makes me want to head to the beach right now.

If you cultivate Z's new Star Wars love, you won't have to worry about him and girls.  Get that boy a Storm Trooper costume, and have him join up with the nerds who march at Disney every year.  He'll never leave your basement other than for the parades.

Apparently the Storm Troopers are quite the catch.

Awesome report!  I've enjoyed it from beginning to end.  Z is just tooo cute for words!

You seriously did a great job making me miss the beach!  Top Sail is now on my radar.

Note:  We pass right through Cummings on our way to Turner Field!  Hmmm... may need to give you call and stop in at the Dutch Monkey for a donut (or 3)  ;D

Hmmm.

Who knew?

Make it a Jar Jar Binks costume then.

We don't need him getting beat up.

Wingman, priceless.  He picks up some pretty cute chicks.

It was nice to come home and read all your updates.

Jason likes to point out that he always chooses a very pretty one.

Great report Kelly!

It was fun vacationing at Topsail and living vicariously through you and your family!

That looks like an awesome area that needs to be explored.

Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, you need to explore that area. Very pretty!

I enjoyed your report! We love the 30A beaches too. Z is adorable!

I LOVE 30A, in fact the RV is now rocking a 30A sticker.

Thanks for sharing your vacation.  The photos were awesome.

We'll be there July 11 for a game and possibly going to Six Flags on the 12th... but that is still up in the air.  We also have Braves tix in late September. :)   We have vouchers for a couple of more but not sure which ones we'll work into the schedule yet.

Quit bragging The TCD camper has three stickers related to 30A:

Nice!!! But you still need one of the blue 30A stickers with the sun.

And you just reminded me that I never showed our site, 136. It was a pull-thru but had lots of privacy on the one side.

Sweet looking Jeep!

I will tell my husband about your compliment. It's his other love. :)

True. I actually have one of those stickers, but no place to put it.

TCD

I see some spaces.... get creative!

I think every 1 out of 3 cars in Nashville has one of those stickers.  Whoever sells those must be rich.

They give them out for free at a lot of shops and restaurants along 30A. Marketing, baby!

Seriously?

Makes sense- when we visit Seaside, I see more Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee license plates than I do Florida plates.

TCD

Especially LA, AL, and GA. Everywhere we went was crawling with LSU fans. I'm OK with that though. If I wasn't a UGA alumni, I might be an LSU fan. Those people always look like they're having a good time. And I love Cajun food.
