Touch to Pay outages are being experienced across WDW. Impacted locations include most of merchandise, food & beverage, and recreation locations. -
Testing has been going on for the past couple of months for using the new FastPass+ system for lunchtime dining at Be Our Guest in the New Fantasyland section of Magic Kingdom. For anyone that's tried to each lunch there, you'll know that the line can get quite lengthy and the wait (in the hot sun) very long. Here's how the testing has been working so far... Testing has been open to randomly selected Guests at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge. Additional Guest testing of MyMagic+ will begin June 20, with selected Guests (see below) being contacted with an invitation to participate starting as early as today, for stays between June 20 and July 6. As before, the MyMagic+ testing will allow Guests to touch to enter parks and their Disney resort rooms, as well as touch to pay at participating locations for the duration of their stay. It will also include use of the FastPast+ system in all four theme parks between June 20-26. Reports are that testing is going on now through April 27 for the use of Fastpass at Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Fantasmic! Fastpasses will be available at the tip board starting at midday. Guests holding a Fantasmic! Fastpass will still be able to get a Fastpass for another attraction immediately. Rumor has it that Fantasmic! will be rolled out as part of the MyMagic+ Fastpass program.
