Becky's main course, Veal with Black Truffles and Sauce Perigord.

Becky switched one of her courses for one off the vegetarian menu, a mushroom medley, which she enjoyed immensely. I do not recall the actual name of this dish, but if you like mushrooms (I do not) this is the dish for you.

Palmetto Farms Quail with Asian Pears, Serrano Ham Jus.

We added the wine pairings with each course, well worth it, then were good pours and sometimes they even topped them off.

Colorado Bison with Black Radish Slaw and Kumquats.

Took Becky for the mean of a lifetime for her birthday at Victoria and Albert's. It was amazing, that is the only way I can really describe it. And, yes, I took photos of nearly all of the food.

No, we did not go for the Kitchen Sink, but did have a nice lunch: Frozen Sunshine: Vegetarian Falafel: Pork Belly Cuban Sandwich: And finally, Fudge Mud Slide: It was all excellent.

It only comes well done, which is not Becky's preference, but she said it was still very good, though not the best she has had.

I did not take nearly enough photos at the fort, I'll have to do more next time. Here are a few:

We tried Becky's Olaf band at the gate and it did not say "My own personal flurry," like it does at the FP in the parks. A little disappointing, was hoping it would. Maybe once everything is set up they will.

Wish I'd had the same luck. Last week they could not get mine to work with the gate at all. Maybe they expanded the range. I think they do need to turn the one on the front gate about 10% clockwise to make it more easily accessible.

At least one of the cruisers seemed to be out of commission. Thursday we ended up taking a launch to the Contemporary and walked over to make rope drop.

1500 is effective the 23rd as well. Both automated gates switched over as of yesterday. The was a surprise, they have had notices up regarding the comfort stations, but nothing about the gates.

Becky wanted purple too. I can't believe it is not a color offered, many girls love purple over pink. I did get myself the Stitch upgrade Magic Band, don't think it does anything special, but I had to have it. Becky got an Olof Christmas band, and when she uses it the Mickey head flashes white a couple of times and it says, "My own, personal flurry!" That one is going to a friend who loves Olof. We will get it signed by the princesses this week.

I took some pictures today but they don't seem to want to upload to my photo site, modem is pulling a very week connection tonight. I will comment that it looks to me that they are taking their time with this, so maybe you will see it at some point somewhere else. I have seen some rides literally ripped apart before and scraped. Even though this is not a ride, same idea here, it would be gone already.
