Ok guys we have 17 days and 22 hrs before we are back to the Ft I was going over my dinning reservations and out of the 10 days we will be there, we have reservations for all but 2 nights for dinner. And 2 of the dinners are dinner shows. We don't have breakfast or lunch reservations because of our RV. My question to anyone is, does anyone stay at the Ft and use a dinning package? Do you find it worth wild?. We have never done a package because we will barbecue or make a sandwich. But this time we will be meeting friends for dinner for 4 nights. And then there is the cost, which I have no idea

We have been going to the Ft for over 30 years. back when they had the trams going thru the loops instead of buses. And long before pets were even allowed to camp. Even up to 10 years ago, guest abided by the rules. This is what gets me. They can't even enforce the rules of I vehicle in the parking lot, or those smelly golf carts. Now it seems to be the pets. Why can't people just follow the rules. This is when it gets out of hand cuz people want to do what that want. These are the same people who don't understand why their children do not listen.

That is the one in the 100 loop. I also heard she lost her job. What got me is right after she started staying there is when they blocked it so you couldn't take your GC through.

Unfortunately this is going to be like people who are in "wheelchairs" so they can cut the line. How any people will start bringing their dogs to the parks because they don't want to leave them. Not because they are service dogs. We were at Disney this past December and I saw more dogs on buses and in the parks in all my 30+ years going to Disney.

I feel that if there is no pet sites available, then a guest should be told not available. Just like when I make reservations and there isn't a site available, I am told Not available. It used to be they asked you at check in if you have pets. Last time they didn't. I don't remember if that question is online check in.

We always stay in the 1300 loop. Two trips ago, we saw this lady with three long hair big dogs att (on) the playground. Not only are dogs not allowed on the playground, I don't know wether she would be able to handle all the dogs if something were to happen.

Bingo! But I have seen pets up. At the meadows. My grandchildren were at the 1300 loop playground and twice they stepped into "presents"

Yes that is what I believe also. Myself we are pet lovers. But if my granddaughter visits us,she is terrified of dogs because of being bit. In cases like that it is sad that I have to be comforting my gd all weekend cuz she is frighten

The problem we had was pulling out to leave. The guest in the site across from us had his truck parked out into the road. And of course they were no where to be found. I lost count of how many times my husband had to inch up then back up, inch up, so on and so on. Since then, we have never stayed in loop 100 or 200 again. It used to be great loops if you didn't want to rent a golf cart. But now that most of the transportation is at the front of the Ft, I don't know if it is as popular. I agree with prior posters, tried to get a premium site.

This is what I am thinking. He asked on the phone to Disney is it because of the new rates, they told him it had nothing to do with that. But I lean more to reservation rates. Few years ago I was trying to get a site for March and I was told N/A. But when we went to the Ft in Dec prior to March, we saw all this construction being done to the loops. They don't want torrent something that isn't available at the time of reservations. Anyway the loops became available and we stayed our normal 10 day stay in March.

Happy new year Ft Fiends Family. Being new to this site, some of my questions may be repetitive. So I apologize in advance. My question is, if Disney tells you that the Fort is booked and there is no availability, what are the chances this is true? My son is trying to book a vacation during the holiday period, Dec. 27- Jan. 4,2015. He just called Disney yesterday but Disney tells him there are no availability for this time frame. I have heard there are TAs that mainly handle Ft Wilderness reservations and help out when no one else can. He wants to book ASAP because then he would need to make

We actually went to the Ft December 9-19,2013. We go every year around the same time mostly to see the Christmas lights and Decorations. But as we drove around this year, it seemed as if there wasn't the usual amount of site decorations. In the past years, there were actually security guards directing traffic. But this year it was a little quieter. Except for our site, we added more lights to the golf cart and two new inflatebles!
