Crash at the Riviera resort stop tonight. People have been stuck for over an hour. Somebody will die on these things if this happens on a brutally hot day.

Speaking of not having the need to stop for breaks....when I used to travel in a friend's pusher to motorcycle races we would set the cruise and swap out drivers. It seemed perfectly ok in my 20's. I wouldn't do that now lol.

Just think how bad the crowds would be if it was cheaper.... Don't get your hopes up too much for Smuggler's Run. It is not FoP. I hope Rise of the Resistance is a winner.

You should be good in just about any premium site given that the neighbors are not parked in the way. Our trailer is 43' and I don't stress over site selection too much. Sometimes the outside sites on the loop are easier to get backed in. I stopped requesting sites years ago. I just ask to see the book now when we check in. We stayed in 1117 last trip. It was super easy,

There's a video out there. Basically, if it is moving the inside temp matches ambient. When it stopped it heated up a few degrees in like 3 minutes. If you are in one while stopped on a hot sunny day without wind you are going to fry.

They are gong to have a real problem if people are trapped for an hour or two in the middle of the summer snacks and water won't help much.

That sounds like our post hurricane trip a few weeks ago. Low crowds are the best. it did seem a bit strange though

Thanks for the well wishes for Tish, everyone. It's been a long year and a half for her struggling with back pain. I think there is now light at the end of the tunnel. She started crying on our way home and I asked her what was wrong. She said "I am sitting here completely pain free".

We watched it from the beach at FW. I'd say it is about like Happily Ever After. There's more downtime than Wishes or Hallowishes. We enjoyed it.

Dang. Hate that we are going to miss you this year. Have fun at the beach though. Cape Cod beach trip sounds nice.

Forgot to mention....tish is 4 weeks post surgery of L4/L5 and L5/S1 fusions. She's walked 6 miles 2 days in a row. It wasn't possible before surgery.

Id say some knowledge is helpful, but even without it the land is amazingly well done.

We rode it again this morning. Bode and I were pilots this time. The pilot role is noticeably better than the engineer position. Still not as good as it could be if it was 3D. The Cantina is pretty cool. Drinks are expensive, but you're there more for the experience.

The overal athestic of the land is top notch. The textures, the layout, the sounds, etc are very well done. Better than Pandora, I think. I really liked the bazaar area attached to Ronto's Roasters. Even the restrooms are cool. The gift shop adjacent to Smugglers Run is really nice. The artifacts on the walls are amazingly detailed. Overall it truly feels like another world. It is also really nice at nighttime. The lightsaber build experience was also very cool. The CM that we had directing it was great. He really pulled you into the story and made it feel real. Bode absolutely loved it.

A ton of people came in yesterday. Maybe half full now

Good to hear. I hope they let us check in early at the Fort on Thursday. I plan on being there about 9 am. I figure there will be plenty of open sites. lol

We check in on Thursday. Originally, we were supposed to check in tomorrow. They would only allow us to check into Port Orleans tomorrow or cancel. Pushing our arrival back wasn't an option. Today, I was able to reserve Thursday through next Sunday after checking multiple times with zero availability. I guess I checked it right after they opened it back up.
