Surprise, Santa, and a Shiny new AP Holder… A GDF Trip Report
CampMImi replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Trip Reports
Nice update! It is still baffling that a pool is open in December! -
River Country was just in the news again so maybe people are out exploring again. Here is the story.http://m.wftv.com/news/news/local/rundown-river-country-hot-spot-disney-world-advent/njZHC/ Not sure if you can open that since I am on my phone.. While we were waiting for fireworks one night, we noticed the "police" boats running the coastline of Discovery Island with their spot lights. Maybe connected. Not sure.

Surprise, Santa, and a Shiny new AP Holder… A GDF Trip Report
CampMImi replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Trip Reports
Warmth is right!! The day we left it was 86 degrees! :) We arrived home to 38 degrees and rain. Yuck! It was great to meet you guys also! Z was more adorable in person than in pictures <3 Madison asked me if you were tipsy LOL!! I told her that it was likely and I missed the party! I have to tell you, that I contemplated a TR, but our trip was really bad. Well, disappointing is a better word. I would not want to discourage anyone coming to FF for information, so I have to let the sadness subside before I delve into that. I am so happy to hear that you guys had encounters wit -

Cinderella's coach from new movie

We saw it yesterday. Very pretty. They made an announcement/advertisement just before the Christmas parade. I took a few photos but can't post until I get on a computer. -
Help a Front Desk CM out
CampMImi replied to Memphis's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I have 2 that I can take up there tomorrow. -
I have no idea what is going on but apparently there was some late night golf cart off-road in that resulted in a replaced pole at the comfort stations. DD said that she saw it go down on her late night bathroom run. And then tonight there has been a large amount of Disney authorized carts, vans, and cars coming around.

Theft in the 1400 Loop

And my daughter was giving me lip about moving our inflatable closer so I could keep an eye out. People are mean. -
My daughter loved ToonTown. She ran off once to go play inside Minnie's house while we we standing at Goofy's. Scariest moment of my life. It was kind of crazy to me that IASW was so underrated at WDW. It seemed to be THE thing to do along with Pirates at DL. I hate that I am getting updates from my phone. I can't enjoy the people watching so much :)

Have mercy that looks so good.

I am on page 3? Maybe? I am excited for this TR! Hate that your oldest couldn't go. I have so many great memories there and seeing some of your photos makes me smile. I will have to share with my oldest.

Gingerbread Displays Around the "World"
CampMImi replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
I am excited to see this. We have never been to the GF or seen the life size gingerbread house. Seriously thought, 423 pounds of chocolate?! -
Depending on what excites you in terms of theme parks, Universal Studios delivers a ton of exciting features. We cannot/will not visit Florida without going. Expensive is an understatement! And I am a single mother with one in college but I still fit this in to our budget. I agree with Mo, if you are going to visit more than 4 times, go with AP. You will find, also, that the worst part about the entire experience is the Fast Pass system. Not only is it additionally expensive, there are two variations. The regular fast pass allows you to skip the lines once per ride and the Unlimited

Overall experience from recent trip
CampMImi replied to weekender's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I am sorry that you had a bad experience. Thank you for sharing because it will help some. There is a cause for concern because people like myself take vacations as an extended family. There are 6.5 of us on this trip. This is typically the scene wherever we camp (large families). Or it could be that is just what I gravitate towards. I think there is an etiquette that needs to be followed and itt evidently wasn't on your trip. There is an issue with the overflow lot being at capacity due to the nature of camping. I wish that Disney would offer more parking space. Even if it is in a dis -

Memory Maker question
CampMImi replied to h2odivers...Ray's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Is that a setting in Memory Maker? Or is that something in MDE? So I am linked up with Ray (my brother from another mother) and I can see all of his res including memory maker but there isnt anything that I can do with MM. I dont have any options there. -
It sounds like you could use a break and the Fort is the best place to get it. :) Enjoy!

What you feed you dog... any why?
CampMImi replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Camping for Pets
I think it depends on the dog. I started to use Blue products on my ShihPoo. He did well on it but it contributed to tear stains (i was told) so we moved to Science Diet. He has terrible stomach issues. Grains just make it worse. The more grains the more frequent he wants to eat and go out. -
:hugs2: I am so sorry about your aunt.
