  1. No, didn't see either of the twins. It was PACKED, but everybody was really well behaved and considerate. A few had their kids on their shoulders but not many.
  2. Checked in today and the place was pretty empty. 300 loop is still closed, but plenty of spots in 100 and 200. Wait for Space Mountain today was 30 minutes. Pirates was 20, and Rides like Little Mermaid and Small World were 10. Stayed for the next to last Wishes, and it was a bit more crowded then. I think tomorrow will be crowded for the last Wishes
  3. Don't expect to watch the fireworks from the Grand this year, unless you shell out $120. GF July 4th event
  4. There's always a big difference once you get near Memorial day. We check in tomorrow, so hopefully it won't be too crowded. We normally go Mother's Day weekend and it is usually pretty nice. I don't know how packed it will get this weekend with the beginning of the new fireworks.
  5. A friend of mine who would know if this is true or not told me that this is just a rumor; although he had to admit it would be a good idea.
  6. Some of the sites in the 2100 loop are much deeper than others. Since you specify your length, they will probably get you in one of the longer sites.
  7. Unfortunately, I don't see any real easy way of changing that unless they reverse the boarding and exit ramps. That would take some fence/gate construction though.
  8. When did this start for MK to Epcot? We could do it from Epcot to MK, but two weeks ago we were able to get to the TTC without bag check, but had to go through the Epcot bag check after exiting the monorail. The ramp for the Epcot monorail exit still ends near the bag check area; outside the "secure zone".
  9. Sorry, didn't see this before today: Showcase of Citrus in Clermont.
  10. I was thinking the same thing. Why would you need to pull a permit to repair existing plumbing? The only thing I can think of is due to the fact it is related to a fire hydrant.
  11. That I agree with. There are some REALLY good Italian restaurants around Orlando, REALLY exceptional. But Via Napoli is different enough that I enjoy eating there occasionally. I haven't been in Tutto Italia Ristorante in ages since it is more expensive and not as good as some of the local Italian restaurants we go to frequently (I love Italian food). But Via Napoli is always a treat, even at those prices.
  12. When we were there there were a lot of crows there walking around inside the restaurant area looking for handouts. Was a bit annoying.
  13. Portabello's wasn't bad, and it was rarely crowded. It was a really nice looking restaurant inside. Maybe it was a little too much like a typical Italian restaurant in that people went more for a restaurant that wasn't just like one in their home town.
  14. Walking through Disney Springs this morning my wife and I saw that Portabello is closed with a construction wall around it. In addition, the sign that used to be on the restaurant with the restaurant's name is now gone. Don't know if it is just a refurb or if the changes will bring a new name: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment/restaurants/best-orlando-restaurants/os-et-portobello-20170327-story.html
  15. This is the best advice of all, regardless of the type of camper. Take your time and make small corrections. It took a couple of years, but I finally got that ingrained in my brain!
  16. There have been some great concerts this year. We really enjoyed the Pointer Sisters. Little River Band is always good. We were surprised how good the Blood Sweat and Tears show was. But The Orchestra is always such a great show. Between Food and Wine and Flower and Garden, they rank at the top. The only other concerts to equal were Al Stewart, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, David Sanborn and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, all from Food and Wine. There were plenty of great concerts like The Turtles, but these shows stood out with The Orchestra.I can't forget the Spinners. Looking forward to the
  17. Great shows, Some clips from our seats Friday night. Stayed for all 3 shows.
  18. Our 21BHS has been outstanding over the last 3.5 years.
  19. This year, if you drive you have to park at Epcot and take a bus to the Magic Kingdom starting point. That's similar to other events when the start point was ESPN WWoS and you had to park at Epcot and take a bus.
  20. I would. We found it really convenient. However, I would suggest going to the Outpost the day before and verifying the pickup points both at the Outpost and within the campground. There was some confusion regarding the pickup point at the Outpost in January, but in the end, the signage was pretty clear. Use the busses to get to the Expo/registration and that should give you a good assessment of how you'll like it.
