It's been pouring here for several hours now, so I guess people gave up.

One day a few years ago during what was the off season, I was off from work. I drove my wife to work and dropped her off at Disney University, and then headed into the Magic Kingdom just at rope drop. I went straight to Haunted Mansion. I was the only guest in the stretching room, and when I left that room, there was nobody in line. I took my time and got to take a look at those paintings and listen to the audio. There was nobody around other than a couple of cast members. I think that was a once in a lifetime event for that ride.

I thought all fast passes and dining reservations made in association with a lodging reservation are now canceled when a resort reservation is canceled. Maybe I am hallucinating common sense.

I've used NuFinish with some success. Easy to apply too.

They were Friday. My niece texted my wife Friday with a screenshot of the Facebook post asking my wife to get her one. We stopped in and grabbed it. They had a couple of shelves full of them in two different places in World of Disney, and there were quite a few people buying several at a time. On Ebay, they were selling for $60 or so. After looking at them, I just don't get it. They weren't bad, but just the typical plastic souvenier cup. I figure after this, the prices will drop online.

In case anybody was following the pandamonium related to the Beauty and the Beast Rose cup at Be Our Guest and Gaston's may remember that people in California were waiting for hours to get one and the ones here at Disney World sold out right away. If you're still looking for one, and Friday they had a ton of them in World of Disney at Disney Springs. They were moving pretty fast, but I would think they got plenty of them. $12.99.

Check in is 1PM isn't it? Even the email I just got for next week states 1PM. In any case, agree they will be fine. We often arrive a bit early, such as 11:30 and have no issues. Worst case is you need to park in overflow until the site is ready.

4 - 5 inches of rain over the last two days in the Orlando area. I received an email stating the burn ban was still in effect for our stay beginning June 14th, but that may change now. In my area of Lake County they lowered the fire risk to moderate. In any case, I'm sure the mosquitoes will be making up for lost time.

400 - 900 are the premium pet loops. 300 is the Preferred pet loop and all of the full hook up sites are pet loops. At any given time, you can find pets in any loop, but I've also seen people denied loops because they have pets. I think it depends on how crowded they are or how strict the particular cast member wants to be.

In Lake, Orange and Osceola, the bans are still in effect, so I assume it remains the same at Fort Wilderness.

I had to get out of one of the WDW Facebook sites. It was mind boggling what people were doing.

I remember a lot of those scenes. Certainly a much simpler time.

All I can think of is Wilderness Lodge, but that's just a guess.

We saw that too! They seemed to have taken a really generous view of what constituted their campsite! Maybe it was a Premium premium site.

Surprisingly, I don't see much of a drop, at least at lunch. As usual, by 11:30 the line is pretty much around the corner by the register and out the door. We try to get there around 10:30 for an early lunch or after 2:30. The few times I've been by at dinner time it has been crowded, but I would assume there is still some affect from the other restaurants. A friend of mine has attended meetings where they discuss the impact on business in that end of Disney Springs caused by the relocation of the bus stop. My wife and I eat there about once every week or two. Occasionally we get a sandwich not quite up to par, but overall they are still consistently good. I think you may have hit a bad night.

That is a great point. It will definitely not be the same unless you are there.

Jason, See it in person. We were right in front of the castle. All I can say is "Wow". I can see what you mean about heart, but in person it really grabs you.
