4th of July had a several hour long beach party including fireworks. We watched Wishes from the beach last night (5th). There were at least 3 fort rangers there including one driving up and down the beach on a golf cart so I assume they were okay with us being there. Immediately following the fireworks the fort rangers moved across the beach telling everyone the beach is now closed and we would have to leave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I'm not familiar with the cypress campground, but we often stay at Highlands Hammock State Park and like it a lot. No sewer hookups just a dump station when you leave. But there are several bath houses which are usually pretty clean. And no paved sites unless your disabled. And most sites require an extension cord to reach the power pedestal, but again we still enjoy our time there. Once you put your dates in their websites you can pick which site you want. Post what site your considering and I can tell ya if we've stayed in it before or try to give you some feedback. They also allow personal
