We love our dog and would never, unless an emergency, let her alone in a hotel room for more than a few hours at a time. We bought an RV this year so she can travel with us. She didn't like staying home with a pet sitter; she loves being with us. We are DVC members and it is hard to use all our hundreds of points at the Fort because many times I call and they tell me no sites have been released to DVC at the Fort. I would like to have a few DVC places allow pets. That way our dog would have a bit more room to roam and even in our RV we come back to visit and take Dandee outside for exerc

We leave on 10/1.

Super Fiend; are there open sites? We are set to arrive Sunday, but may just try to get there a day early. We are normally in 500 and I may just give them a call to see if we can arrive a day early. Sure glad to read the standing water has subsided. Keeping fingers crossed that this time we have no rain. It sure makes it difficult with our big dog to take her potty and the dog park is all underwater, but we make the best of it no matter what! :jumpforjoy

When we were at the Fort in late July it looked like a Louisiana bayou from all the rain. It was wet everywhere and the dog park was pretty much under water. We are going to be back at the Fort in 9 days; is it dry there now? I sure hope so!

What neat shirts! Love the one with all the small Mickey heads everywhere on the front! Makes me want to give this a try one more time! Made two shirts a few years back and the color didn't come out near as bright as yours! Great job!!!

Since this will be only our 2nd stay at the Fort we have no ritual for set up, yet! No GAG for us this time cuz we will be going to the HDDMR to celebrate 37 yrs of marriage magic! So, the GAG may be purchased the next night.

Greetings Fellow Fort Fiends, Hubby and I are not new to Disney; we've been living it up at WDW for MANY years now (DVC members). We recently bought an RV to enjoy retirement in and will arrive on 4/25 at Fort Wilderness for our very first (but not last) time!!! Bringing our sweet Dandee; the Goldendoodle with us. We have a Premium site reserved in a dog loop; what loop has the most room for us to back up and get in to cuz this is our first time camping anywhere!!! As far as our dog she will do her "duty" without taking a long walk (yes we do bring our bags with us to clean up), so tell
