DW has a RV question?
Judy in Texas replied to h2odivers...Ray's topic in Camping To and From the Fort
My friend and I would love to get the Leisure Van Unity with the twin beds. Do some research on the ones with Murphy beds. We've heard that the mechanics of the beds are having reliability issues. -
DW has a RV question?

Even when I'm not towing the trailer I don't want to drive more than 9-10 hours a day. -
According to Themepark Insider, MyMagic+ crashed today and WDW reverted to paper fastpasses. Yearly BCP test? Probably not. Written by Robert Niles Published: August 2, 2014 at 10:39 AM New item: MyMagic+ went down at Walt Disney World today, forcing a return to paper Fastpasses for much of the day. http://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/201408/4149/

Millermouseketeers and I are from the DFW area. Lonestar is from south of us. Outside Austin or San Antonio? There are a few other folks on here from Texas, also. -
It's interesting that English is listed third. It's nice that this (at least) 16 floor hotel has elevators. Does that really need to be said? Their target market isn't used to the standard USA amenities?

We are discussing phishing scams on a conference call this afternoon. The current one is phone calls supposedly from Microsoft or Apple (for example) saying there is an issue with your computer/cellphone and they need your logon and password so they can fix it. Lots of people getting these calls at home, at work, on cell phones. A number of people also talking about their elderly parents getting multiple requests in the mail per week from supposed charities for donations. Lots of puppies & kitties and hungry children on the envelopes. Remember never to give out your logons and

OT: New Restaurants Opening at Universal
Judy in Texas replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in Dining Reviews and Information
I found the menu for the Hot Dog Hall of Fame. They are serving hot dogs not only in the style of certain areas of the country, but actually serving that area's hot dog brands: Colorado = Nathan's New York = Sabrett's, Arizona, Kansas CIty, Chicago = Vienna Detroit = Koegel Boston = Kayem (with a New England toasted bun) Los Angeles = Farmer John's foor long- 6 replies

Since you and INC are on a new eating program, does that mean no more carrot cake? Most recipes have oil and egg as ingredients and no self-respecting carrot cake would be seen without cream cheese frosting - heaps of it.

Chuy's made it to Fort Worth several years ago. There's one 20 minutes from the house; but, I still haven't been there. I'll have to make it a point to give them a try.

My flight from Hawaii back to the states was ROUGH till we got over the California coast. I was told it is a normal occurance - has to do with the heating and cooling of the ocean. I wish you a smooth, safe flight.

I've ridden The Fort's busses on Not So Scary Halloween Party evenings. Such costumes! If you aren't going, it would be fun to hang out on the Trail's End/Crockett's Tavern porch with your favorite beverage watching all of the costumed guests heading for the boats to MK. Later you can watch the special fireworks from the beach.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake in Foil Packets
Judy in Texas replied to Judy in Texas's topic in Swap A Recipe
I made this for supper. I give the results a C. Here's what I did and learned: I put 1/2 a short can of drained pineapple on a piece of heavy duty foiled that had been sprayed with Pam-like spray. I cut one 1" slice of Sara Lee pound cake into cubes and put it on top of the pineapple. The recipe says to top this with a dollop each of butter and brown sugar. I used 1 tablespoon of butter and 2 big spoonsful of dark brown sugar plus a few chopped walnuts and then sealed the foil packet. The recipe says to put it on a hot grill for about 15 minutes then open the packet to allow the cake to br
