Maryann to keep your travel wt down just rent a car at Disney they will pick you up and drop you off at the outpost and I think the cost is $35 a day you can go to Walmart and get all you supplys there or ship them thier. Airlines will kill you wilth over wt rates.

Out of all the years I've been going to the Fort and leaving all of our camping gear out I only had one thing stolen and that was a half a cooler of beer. One friend that spends lots of time at the Fort told me to look by the lake behind the 300 loop he said kids take cooler and go back thier to drink them. I went back thier and there was my cooler and all the beer cans. So I got my cooler back and it was still full of Ice I refilled it and was happy again

Everyone you’ll be amazed how much longer your beverages will stay cold and the cheep ice will last if you put a block or frozen jugs in your cooler. You do have to leave some water in it but the water will be 32 degrees and will stay that way for a long time even adding more beverages to it. If you need a bag of Ice the ice at the trading post is better and last longer than the machines at the CS. The CS ice it fluff ice and not solid ice like the trading post.

Then Now

We used Dry Ice for all of our meat products and other things we didn't want to sit in icy water when we went out on the boat for the week end. For the beer cooler we added a real block of ice not the crap pressed block the most places sell. We filled the cooler with beer and topped with one bag of Ice. Even adding beer the Ice would last about 4 days in the sun.

This really not a game it’s more for fun. Most of the people on this board have been going to the Fort and WDW for years. I bet you have lots of pictures and lot of them from the same place and people. So post pics of something from years ago and then post pics of what it looks like now. Example

No they fix them self. blow drying hair in shower is a start. But thanks to GFI they can't kill them self anymore that way

Sometime back in the 80’s Orange County was looking to do a special tax just on Disney. Disney told Orange County ok and Disney started petitioning the state about becoming it own county. If that happened Disney would keep all tax revenue and not have to pay a dime to Orange County. State police can go anywhere in the state. Until 2001 Disney was treated as private property which it is. OCSD had to be invited on the property.

Until 2001 Disney had toral control of security OCSD could not come on the property unless called. Disney handled everything in house. Now OCSD is everywhere

The great thing about this pic this That Disney had total control over everything. Disney security took care of everything on the property. There was no OCSD. If you look at the light on the dash it is red
