  1. Site 114 in early September, 2018. Mom's walking our fur baby!
  2. I guess this is a dead thread, but trying to get an idea of who else might be there. We arrive 10/30 and leave 11/5 and have a Preferred. I know a Fiend is already there in 116. We will have a cart for the first two nights, so if you see Santa looping say howdy!
  3. I'm very surprised that they have not started charging a surcharge for private carts, at least enough to make their rates comparable to off-site rentals. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Me too. I saw "Musket Mickey" pop up in a notifications and it sparked me to life as scrolled in Facebook slumber! Alas, no musket, but at least he's still sporting a coon pelt on his head... PETA hasn't gotten THERE yet! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Imgur is pretty easy on a pc using the web, but their iPad app SuCkS! It wants to shove curated images in my face and make every upload into a FB post! I think I've figured out how to make it do what I want, forgive me while I try... I wanted to share this pic with Carol anyhow. Let's see if this works.
  6. Instead of downloading individual images from PB, go to all of your trip reports (and other image-heavy threads) and save a web archive. That will allow you to always see the page as it exists now even after PB goes down. It will store full-rez versions of every image from the page in your local archive. This can serve as a guide as you go through to reconstruct your posts with links to Imagr. I did this "over there" before I nuked all my threads!
  7. Been doing great. Lots of projects on the moho. I've turned mostly to the dark-side (Facebook) though I peek in here from time to time.
  8. Disney advertises the sites without tax so, according to them, Premium sites start at $92 a night. Most folks are used to tax in the 7-8% range so in your head its still under the $100 threshold. Still, we stay at other nice campgrounds that are nearly as expensive and don't have anywhere near the entertainment options the Fort does. Definitely catering to a different type of vacationer than what they did originally, though. Oh, while I'm here, I also uploaded a side-by-side comparison of 2017 rates to 2018, color-coded to show the biggest changes. You can find it here: https://www.dropb
  9. The short version is, rates went up an average of 8.3% across all site types. I have updated my Fort Rate Calc spreadsheet to include 2018 pricing. It is available here (click me). Obviously, the 2018 rates are included in the spreadsheet, so if you just want to see those they are in the Rate Lookup tab. Rates include 12.5% tax. This was the easiest way I could think to share the data, but if you'd like it in some other form, just let me know.
  10. Today is the day... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Uncle! I always though they were contorted from long hours in the saddle and desperate to find a bush. But then again I never spent much time looking at it, preferring not to linger in public restrooms! Good job.
  12. Ants?! No, the wagon train has stopped for a "rest area"... takin care of business... gone to talk to a man about a horse... you know, the same reason you are there!
  13. They were small open ones like Disney had, so maybe 6, but I have to assume there are functional similarities to the big ones.
  14. On the gondolas at Six Flags we could divert cars onto a secondary track in the wheelhouse to load wheelchairs or if there was a protein spill... so, slow loads don't necessarily bring the whole line to a standstill.
