Here are my Epcot Pics. Not exactly sure when these were but my son was born in December 1981 and I know my parents came down to visit when I lived in Florida around the time that Epcot first opened. There was an article in the paper at the time about seeing Epcot in one day and he was like a commando. We didn't even get to stop to eat. My father was a photographer and he passed away last September. He took many slides of our trip to Disney in 1977 and I just digitized some of them. No, none of them are my family. Funny thing is, my dad was a photographer and took very few pics of people. The kids at the cart are my brother and sister and of course the family in front of the Fort Wilderness sign are my family but I have no idea who the rest of them are. Yeah that could be a Jonas.

These are vintage slides my father took in 1977 at the Fort. I had to digitize them so they are not the best quality but I thought you all might enjoy them. I still have several slide trays and a metal box of slides yet to do but i believe these are the only Fort pics. They were on beach all the way up to almost the end towards River Country. But there wer lots of lights on at river country as well. Not sure if it is usually lit up like that. I don't remember seeing that but then again my memory isn't so good anore.

I have been buying Disney Gift Cards are Target with my Target Credit card for years. Typically you don't get 5% off of Gift cards but Disney Cards are considered Entertainment Cards so you get 5% off. I pay for my trip with the cards. Last time I was there, I noticed that they have Southwest Airlines cards. I wondered if it was the same for them. I forgot to mention that on the first night, my daughter went to a meet and greet for 18 - 21 years olds. She was disapointed that no one else showed up. I really had hoped she would find someone her own age to hang with. She did find a girl that was 18 but she was going to the teens club and Jackie was not allowed as she was 19. Day 7, Friday, September 2 - EPCOT Went back to Epcot to do future world. First we went to get a fast pass for Soarin. Then headed the other direction to Universe of Energy. Day Six, Thursday, September 1, 2011 - Hollywood Studios My favorite park. Of course we got out late as usual. Didn’t bring lunch today because we hoped to eat at the Sci Fi Diner. Day Five, Wednesday, August 31 - Typhoon lLagoon One of my favorite parks!!!! Of course we didn’t get out as early as I hoped. In fact the whole trip we NEVER did. I had gotten my daughter a water proof case for her camera so we were going to test it out today. Of course we didnt know how to use it, hence the round circle around many of the pictures. Day Four Animal Kingdom My daughter would not get up to go to AK. She said she hated that place and was not about to go there so she slept in. While waiting at the Outpost bus stop I saw a man walking up wearing a Phillies shirt. We did see a lot of them on our trip. I was about to ask him where he was from and I then saw his sons tshirt. Continuation of Day three - Magic Kingdom We had planned to go back to the Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks and the Electric parade. We waited for a bus for about half an hour and by the time it was 8:30 we gave up and went back to the campsite. We decided to head over to the pool and the campfire. I was disappointed that the new slide closed at 8:00. I was so looking forward to trying it out. However we got to go in the hot tub and the pool. Our feet were so sore already and our bodies ached. Yeah i know, were old. What can i say. Had a wonderful evening and we enjoyed ourselves.

August 29th Day three Magic Kingdom Magic Kingdom day. Again late getting started. It wasn’t like I wasn’t up early enough. We again packed lunch. Anyway headed straight to space mountain for a fast pass and met mom and sister back on main street. Headed over to Adventure land first. Hit the Jungle Cruise first, then the Tiki room and then Pirates. Got my daughter her pirate princess ears and a shirt and then off to the Country Bears and then got caught in a downpour. Day 2, Sunday, August 28, 2011 Epcot Well my sister is known for being on the slow side so it was almost 11 before we ever left the Fort. She had not been to WDW since we were kids when all that was there was the Magic Kingdom and River Country so it was all new to her. We packed our lunch.
