WDW Closings due to COVID19
jayco1 replied to ImDownWithDisney's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
This may have been answered, but do campers have to be out by a certain time? -
Premium Meadow Sites ?
jayco1 replied to Cheftjpeck's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
"taking away amenities , cheapening fun stuff , not maintaining the area as they did but increasing prices to hotel room rates" Isn't that magical ? -
Swing wide when turning

Probably my lack of IT skills but I also only see 3 pix.
-
That is a shame, always looked forward to reports.

Due to health issues we haven't been to the Fort for a while. Always enjoy reading the trip reports, especially Mr TCD. Hope to see some new ones, with pix, soon. Thanks

At our business we have purchased warning stickers and just put them on everything we ship to CA.

I wanted to revive this thread to see if most fishing at the Fort is still restricted because of the alligator incident?

Golf Cart: to do or not

Sometimes the experience at the cart pickup isn't too magical. -
Heading home with a $600 tab thinking you would be just as full if you had hit a drive through.

Leaving in 4 days!

A trip none of you will ever forget..... Enjoy -
Consider a 75% nitrogen fill, it is free and available everywhere.

On previous trips with our camper we have "looped" in the cabin areas, and at times some places looked pretty lonely but it certainly would depend on what you are looking for. If you are leaving early for the parks and staying all day it probably wouldn't make a lot of difference.

Maiden Voyage to the Fort (or anywhere) In Our TT
jayco1 replied to Souders6's topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
It's hard to beat 900. -
You are saying the rules are just suggestions?
-
A lot depends on what you want. If you are going to setup chairs, have music, etc. you probably will need to stay in your site or pay the mouse. How ever you can do a "hit and run" almost anywhere, just show up, and do it. As you can see by my profile picture weddings are what I do and have done 100s, many time we just show up at a nice spot and get it done. I once did one at a major league baseball game, we just stepped out in the aisle between innings and were done before the game started again. Got a big ovation when the crowd figured out what we were doing.

It looks like unless you are staying at least a week, or more, probably not worth the hassle. Thanks
-
That doesn't sound too magical. How much do you save?
-
Curious, how does this work? Who hauls it back and forth? etc. Thanks

An extra section of water or drain hose will give you a little more flexibilty in parking and avoids buying one at Meadows discounted prices.
