  1. I am excited to read your report, even if only to learn if you survived! LOL Thanks for the pictures and taking time to share your expreiences!
  2. Thanks for pointing out the Sanford and Son reference. I, too, thought the names of the decorators of that site were Fred and Lamont. I thought those were some pretty tacky guys, but I have friends who are like that.
  3. I bet a lot of folks are hoping for another installment before the weekend! (hint, hint!)
  4. I bet you are working on an update right now. (I hope, I hope, I hope!!)
  5. The first Gaston was handsomer, but his "enhanced" muscles were more obvious. The second looked like he filled out the shirt on his own. I think you split the twins in half. That what Solomon would do, right?
  6. Some of those costumes seemed to me to be more scary than not-so-scary, if you know what I mean. And one more comment about the shorts/diaper lady - was anyone else bothered by the way the young boy coming in was looking at her???
  7. I'm probably on the second page, but who cares when it is a TCD TR? :jumpforjoy
  8. TCD, knowing that you like to get up early and go exploring, I suggest an early morning trip to Captain Cook's. I know you love to see what is going on at the Fort at such hours, but perhaps you should make an exception in the interest of science. I am hoping to get there during WWW for my first Dole Whip. :)
  9. Oh, yes he did! He had to promote his album. Which I bought. To make things worse, i have borrowed DVD's from the library so I can show my kids these episodes! Here is Shawn Cassidy singing while his brother, Parker Stevenson investigates something. Note that this was late in the run, when Nancy Drew would show up in the same episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hm2hMZRnxPY
  10. I remember planning my week around Hardy Boys episodes on Sunday night. If it iwas a Nancy drew episode, my entire week was ruined. If shaun Cassidy sang, I was on Cloud 9 all week! I was also extra jealous of my friend who had Shaun Cassidy posters on her wall. My mother wouldn't let me put posters on the wall.
  11. I would let WDW know of your dis-satisfaction. Sure, they probably won't care because we are just lowly campers. But maybe, just maybe, your complaint will reach the desk of someone who actually feels WDW should give good service to all their guests. Hope the rest of your trip was good!
  12. I believe since I am the one turning 50 this February, that overshadows all other claims to having a birthday in the month of February.
  13. I think it is possible that people reading this thread will get riled up. I propose... Cupcakes for everybody!
  14. So, after reading your report, I started wondering how many views my TR got. It got a little over 1,200 views here in FF.net. But it was originally published "over there" before there was a FF.net. In fact, someone posted twice on the "Podcast" forum there that people should read my TR. Really, very sweet. So it must have got a lot of views there, right? Well, I don't know, because it has been deleted. I didn't delete it. At least, I don't remember deleting it. There are plenty of other threads I started or commented on that are still there. But that one went *poof*! Should I just as
  15. I have a 15yob who would give up a whole lot just to go to AK. He loves big cats and dreams of working with them someday. I guess I am the type to think, to each his own. But I am not a troll and I do not often rant. But I do enjoy the pictures! Hoping your TR gets to Rock Star status soon!
  16. I am a big hazelnut fan and have been since I went to Germany in '79 and tried Hazelnut ice cream. My, oh my, but that is good! I gained 5 pounds the three weeks I was there and that was 5 lbs. of hazelnut ice cream and worth every ounce! I believe they call it Nuss ice cream there, in case you ever get there and want to order it. BUT, I don't like Nutella because they claim to be good for you, yet use artificial flavors made from petro-chemicals. Yuck.
  17. Oh good, another child traumatized on a trip to WDW. Keep it up, folks. Then, by the time I retire, WDW will be practically empty and I can enjoy it at my leisure. :D
  18. Thanks for posting the parade pics. That was the parade we saw in 2010. My dc enjoyed seeing the pics very much.
  19. Gretchen -I asked for advise on the budget board "over there" on how to earn some extra cash, since we were going to be on a tight budget. Some people gave good advice, like get a paper route. Others berated me for being such a bad mom, taking the kids to WDW and only taking them to one park, not letting them buy all the souveniers they want, and making them stay in a tent instead of a nice hotel. As you can see, my kids had a great time inspite of all the "hardships" they had to endure.
  20. Post first, read later. Hopefully that will get me on page one.
  21. Don't let the oxygen mask fool you. The air coming out of those things is warm. They put one on me during labor and I kept tearing it off to get some cool refreshing room air! LOLHope everyone going to F&W has a great time! :wine: :doublebeer: :SmileyMargarita1: (How come we have so many driniking smilies and no eating smilies??)
