  1. Thirteenth year in a row my kids are home from school. Who am I kidding - I wouldn't have it any other way! Hope everyone at the Fort is having fun. Pictures, please!
  2. It's almost lunch time at our house and i am hungry as I am reading this. I guess it is good that you are not posting pictures of pood forn that would make me even hungrier, but i definitely sympathize. Hope you found something yummy somewhere. The Dole Whip with rum does not sound as yummy as the drink in a pineapple I had at the Poly. But I would still like to try one, someday.
  3. Gwen, I spent so much time before I went plannng exactly what i would wear each day. When I got there, i just wanted my warmest clothes on for the whole weekend. I didn't care what i looked like, and neither did anyone else. My advice for next year is pack layers, so you can be ready for whatever the weather does. And jammies. Cute jammies are a must.
  4. :rofl2: You know, i just went back and looked at my TR photos. I am the manic grinning fiend! :D
  5. Aw gee, I felt sure you would get that one. FPBR = First page Bragging Rights!
  6. Great pictures, Kim! thanks for posting! My thought on the unmentionables in the EZ-up -- They probably belong to the lady whose catch phrase was "Just don't tell me Sista'!" Also, there were a few pictures where I was not grinning. Please rest assured that i was grinning on the inside. i was just so wore out from the shenanigans of the weekend and my grinning muscles needed a rest.
  7. I'm in! FPBR!! Editting to add (now that I have read the first installment): Faceless fairies creep me out. Kudos to the twins for Fort pictures from the bus. They look great and are much appreciated. When do we got to the rum??
  8. Oh, you know me, I will sit on the floor, just get me there and give me a drink!! :SmileyMargarita1:
  9. Gee whiz. I thought this thread was to sign up to meet up for drinks at crockett's Tavern. Not sure how soon I can get there, but iwas willing to try! (Or at least, dream about it! *sigh*)
  10. I would think it was possible, because Carol managed to get the WW all together. We did have one site across the street, but 3 next to each other.
  11. Welcome! I am not sure of the answer, but I know there are folks here who will. Hope you stick around and join the fun! :welcome2:
  12. He was going to carry his musket, but then he found out that he would be suspended from school!
  13. I believe they did this to appeal to the new Pope. Think of the PR they could get if he came and did the American Idol Experience!
  14. I think it is just that the people in Jersey are getting larger! (Said with tongue firmly in cheek, as I myself was born and bred in NJ!)
  15. Well, the hat my dd made me looks really good in those pictures. As for the rest, :rofl2:
  16. I think next WWW needs to be videotaped so i can remember all these sayings and moments that now escape me. Two moments I have not forgotten are "That's what pillows are for" and the moment that is "In the vault!" I also remember having the absolutely bestest time ever and more fun than I could imagine.
  17. We want Loretta's pictures! We want Loretta's pictures! We want Loretta's pictures! We want Loretta's pictures! We want Loretta's pictures!
  18. We want Kimmie's pictures! We want Kimmie's pictures! We want Kimmie's pictures! We want Kimmie's pictures!
  19. My dd and dh loved sleeping in hammocks when we were at the Fort, but be aware that they spray an insect repellent at night that left with with a rash for a few days.
  20. Has the Biebs become the new "He who must not be named"? Good to know!
  21. OK, I found the notes I made about the trip. I had written a bit about the train ride a few pages back. I will pick up from there. The train was 2.5 hours late getting to Kissimmee, but Loretta's friends, Dee and Missy, were there to meet us at the station. :D They gave us a ride to the campground and stayed and visited for a while. We found the WW sites at FW and Carol gave me a tour of Curt's pop=up that Loretta had rented for the weekend for us to stay in. I had only been in a pop-up once before and thought it looked wonderful! I would really love to bring my family back to FW sometime
  22. My favorite parts of this update was seeing what was the pineapple that i consumed during WWW (Delish!) and seeing the fireworks and realizing I had seen fireworks from inside MK less than a month ago. I feel very blessed. :)
